Relic Board Game
Now that yal are just working on DLC expansions for Talisman and the game is mostly stable are there any plans in the future to work on the Warhammer 40k Relic game?

Would be fun, but it would probably delay the expansions for Talisman...

they have to finish all of the expansions for 4th edition, they are still releasing new ones like the one which makes a pathway from the dungeon to the city

Way too ealy in Nomad's lifetime to be expecting them to be workking on anything but Talisman at the moment, They're just not that big a company yet. I'm sure they would like to be able to, because thhat would mean that the Talisman project was a huge success, enough for them to be capable of a follow-up game.

Did they already announce this as their next game?

I talked to someone at Nomad and they said right now they are going to finish the expansions and are not going to announce anything until then

No.

Ok. Next question. Do people have reasons to expect them to announce this as their next game? I'm just trying to figure out where OP is getting 'relic' from.

Well, Relic is explicitly based on Talisman rules system. It's basically sci-fi Talisman with some rules improvements. It has three stats to Talisman's two and more complicated system of drawing cards, but in its core it's a very similar game including the three-tier structure of the board where you try to find your way to the center.

Ok, thanks for the clarification. Now I get it.

Oooh, a sci-fi Talisman? That sounds awesome. Is it available for computer at all?

It is Warhammer 40k Universe and no, it is strictly the board game version right now

Sounds nice the Relic idea, but imo priority should go to 1/fixing (legion of) bugs and 2/ delivering all talisman expansions!

And that would seem to be Nomad's exact plan for the foreseeable future.
Makes sense to me.

I had to look that up because I didn't know what you were talking about but man that is old. Has GW or FFG ever reprinted that?
