Should I get this on my PC or iPad?

Don't really have anyone to play with in person, what would have the possibly better online community? I definitely love FTL on my iPad over my PC

I only play on PC, however I would probably choose iPad over computer because you can hook your iPad up to your monitor, set up a blue tooth keyboard and have the same screen experience as a PC. Also there are many times while in traffic I wish I could be playing talisman so with the iPad you could play while driving.

I don't know what size the player base is like on iOS, but my guess is its more on Steam. As, for the moment, you can only play against players on the same platform you may be best to go for PC.

However if/when they do unify the playerbase across all the platforms (PC, iOS, Android and eventually Mac) then the answer will become "both" :)

AFAIK there is no Season Pass for mobile versions.

The iPad version currently uses the game center to handle multiple and I've only ever been matched with one other player and sometimes that takes hours. The game will usually give you a "can't find match" error after 15 minutes or so too. I completely stopped playing on the iPad because of the horrible online system.

The player base is a lot better on steam and it usually doesn't take too long to find a match. There are a number of people who play almost daily on steam so the quality of the matches are a lot better too. Also the bug fixes come out on the PC version sooner than the iPad version and there's a few bugs that break the game, so the sooner you get the fixes, the better.

It uses the same network code as the steam and android versions, so that in due course (hopefully by christmas) we will be enable cross-play. This actually already works, but releasing new versions which allow cross-play is a bit more tricky.

Wow Cross play is really coming
Well i suggested it a long time ago, will you also give any discount for full price buyer of the golden version, also known as season pass.

Some of us mentioned that the steam sales with 33-66% for the core game where a joke, iam not one of them, but i would feel raped when i buy the version for the full prize on android.

You will lost many custumer to crack versions, if you will not hear to the suggestions of the community.

Good to hear. I'll wait until the cross platform stuff is done before I pick it back up on my iPad though.

The base game is just one part, if i buy it on sale i still need all other dlcs to buy.
And i just sayed the fact about the crack version because they are online you just need to google it.

I doest support or advertice pirate versions at all, but its a fact that they are there and we cant ignore this,

Yeah I know :( I have the Gold edition on PC and I'm (dimly) hopefully that one day they could do something to tie the accounts together so you only need to buy the DLC once (ala Full Control's Space Hulk adaption)

Guys... :) as someone mentioned in the past... Do you pay only once for game when you want to play the same game on PC, Xbox, PS3? Nope. You will pay 3 times.
These are current rules for games sales and it is applied also to mobile devices.

I'm also Gold Pack owner but after reconsideration I will not ask again for some bonuses to Season Pass/Gold Pack owners. We are not better than people who buy every expansion 1 by 1 :) We are even worse than them ;) because we are just rich ;))) enough or maniacs of Talisman so we had to have all ASAP ;)

yep, every game for every platform has to be bought separately in general. We can ask Nomads for exception from "world model" but they have to pay bills every month ;)

how do you play MP on PC and ipad? on one machine as hotseat or with more clients? My family likes games on ipad but all are hotseats (like eclipse etc). Also, why dont you allow seasons pass on ipad?
