Confused by the Syphone Strength spell
I can't figure out how to use this to save my life. It says "Cast on any character with at least 1 strength counter at the start of his turn....." I selected the card and queued it up. I just went 2 entire game rounds and it never even triggered. It's still just hanging out, all queued and stuff. When does this activate? How do I use it?

[Edit:] Come to think of it. I've had it on for a bunch of turns now and it's never hilited blue. Ever. And it's still in my useable objects tray lifted upward indicating it's queued. Everyone has at least 2 strength too.

Do you know the differences among "Strength counter," "Strength value," and "Strength modifier?" If not, check out the Spell Guide in Steam! Syphon Strength only works if a player has "counters."

If you do know the differences....don't know what to say!

Siphon Strength only works on bonus strength counters, such as from turning in trophies, increased by the Enchantress, etc. You can't take strength away from someone who only has their base strength value, and you can't take away strength points from items (such as the Magic Belt) or followers (such as Black Unicorn). Most likely, it isn't triggering because there are no strength counters available; check what cards everyone is holding.

Ah OK. Then I'm pretty sure it was working as intended as I'm 99% sure that none of the other players had a bonus to their starting strength (I don't recall seeing the starting font color of white being changed to indicate a bonus was in effect).

If you enable tooltips in the option menu, you'll be able to mouse over str/craft values and see base/modified values.
