non-hotseat multiplayer over a local network is not supported. both computers need to have internet access for multiplayer to work, but only one copy needs to have the addons for both to benefit from them. When starting the game you can choose to make it a private game then invite him into the games lobby via the steam friend invite button.
So you could buy the season pass for your account and just the base game for his account and then select Random and 3 character select. This way he can play with different characters even if he doesn't own the DLC that they came from.
Yes. Steam + Android + iOS can play together in online games.
If you are trying to join a private game, type in the name of the game you want to join (e.g. if they've called it ' join_me_ianvass ' put that in the text entry box).
Welcome to the Talisman community and enjoy!
Which ports would those be?
1) The host of our group wasn't paying attention to which servers she was hosting from (Asia instead of USA)
and
2) It turns out even if you set up exceptions, MALWAREBYTES, a brand I have been advocating for the last 2 years, has been causing more issues than they solve, so I uninstalled it from all the computers we use even though they had 2+ months of service left on them, as I was using the premium subsciption.
Very helpful. Thank you
Yes, its the same scenario with Valve, the Steam servers will also shut down, if Valve will ever "die".
But i agree, its a shame that we can not create a working LAN (network).......
That's the kicker.
AFAIK (and I've been out of playing this for ... 3.5 years now?), this is how it _was_ but then the devs decided, "hey, let's totally break this to allow for some mythical cross-everything support!" And then, as far as I recall, it didn't work and the devs went, "oopsies," and never returned.
It's a shame I bought a four-pack. The original IP holder of the Talisman name/trademark should go after this developer, as it's making the Talisman mark look quite bad.
Can anyone positively confirm or deny multiplayer working properly?
Sorry but this is not true, when you are using random chars or pick of three every player can get acces to the chars that are avaible in the pool.
