HELP! How long does the average game last?
Hey everyone! I'm new to the game (just bought it last night, in fact), and it's been a pretty fun experience playing it. :)

... But I'd like to ask: How long does it take to complete a single session? Just wondering, because I just clocked in ~3 hours in my game. Not that it's bad or anything, but it's taking a wee bit longer than I'm expecting to finish one.

Never played the board game version of this have you? 3 hours is par for the course. and the more expansions you use (especially the dungeon) the longer it takes. Talisman is known as the awesome game night time thief, as in "where the @#$@#$ has the time gone!, it's 4am already!".

Concur with above poster. Playing solo against 3 computer players an average game for me clocks in at 2-3 hours 90% of the time.

I loved the board game and this version seems pretty all right too. It's not as fun as playing with your mates but it's a pretty good substitute ...

I'd say 90min+. In my opinion it depends on how much expansions you use.

@kbrayaquar7: Well, yeah. I really don't have much experience on Talisman except for the digital version, which I'm new at. :p

The only board games I've played that's similar to this was BGO (Board Game Online) and Heroscape (which the latter really isn't all that similar). And they're both pretty short (~30min-1hr each).

But lesson learned, I probably won't be playing this at night. Especially with all the ragequits. :)

The game is automatically saved each turn, so you can quit at any time and continue it later.

Really? Well, crud. I lost some sleep from a playing through a session last night.

Oh well, thanks guys. I don't think the long play times are going to bother me anymore.
