Where can I see what rule/expansions/options are in effect for the current saved game I am playing?

AFAIK no chance.

But ...

Many Expansions you can clearly see on the board. Only the non board changing DLC you can not see immidiatly.

If you only have one saved game and did not start another, then creating an new game has all the settings of the old game. These settings are saved until you change them.

But if there is a method to look at it in the current game, which I never found in the years I played this, then I am eager to know it too :)

You can check the house rule settings of your current game by clicking Settings in the top right corner and scrolling down to House Rules.

Thanks, I found it now. The reason I asked is because I have the option for a single Talisman in the Talisman deck turned on. However, it still seems there are a number of them in the Adventure Deck. Is that normal?

Huh, this is a difficult question.
Are all the Talismans from the base game or some from the Expansions? Should be reckognized by the Symbol on the Cards.

In this match, I'm only running the base game, with the (legendary, I think it's called) cards plus the Reaper expansion. So far, three talismans have been drawn, but it was all because of encountering space, not as quest rewards.

In the Houserule it says "There is only one Talisman in the Talismandeck".
I translate it to : You can only get one Talisman from the Quests (normaly you can get 4)

In the Adveturedeck there are 3 additional Talismans. 2 from the Basegame and 1 from the Reaper.

So, without the rule there are 7 Talismans in the game and with the rule "only" 4.

Ok. That makes sense then. I didn't really understand the rule. I was trying to make it so there was only 1 talisman in the whole game, but I guess that would've been brutal.

If you sometime switch to the 5th you can do exactly that. There you have the possibility to modify the Decks :)

And yes, this would be brutal and encouraging PvP :). I have tested it there :)

I don't play that house rule often but I think the way it works is there are more then 1 talisman in the deck but only 1 Talisman can be in play at a time.

So if someone owns a Talisman but another player draws one, the first player loses the Talisman and the second player gets it.

Someone can correct me if I'm wrong.

I don't think that's the case. There are three held by players in my game right now (all drawn from space encounters), with one character currently holding two of them.

As the Houserule says literaly that there is only one Talisman in the "Talismandeck" and not that there is only one Talisman in play, you are wrong (by goinig after the rule "What is written on the Cards (or the Housrules) is canon :D")

Sorry, I'm confusing the house rule with the One Talisman ending.
