Report a translation problem
It is a strange rule, but it can be used to your advantage in Frostmarch - there is a spell which forces someone to go on a quest, so if someone looks like they're heading through the portal you can cast it on them and slow them down!
Yep, but also this Spell can be used at someone who already is in the Inner Region to hope that they will finish the quest and will have to teleport to the Warlock's Cave.
The Magic Portal (if you can roll a 6)
and the Pit Fiend (If you can defeat it and it hasn't been killed already)
Just to be clear the Portal is in the base game and the Pit Fiend is in the reaper expansion.
Never give up!
If you've got an incomplete quest and roll a 6 for the Magic Portal or defeat the Lord of the Pit you still can't go through =p
Sorry for misleading anyone.
I thought pg 17 says you just can't open the portal of power...
This means of course that a character may land on the Plain of Peril by way of the Magic Portal or by defeating the Lord of the Pit. It does not matter whether or not you have a quest, as you are not opening the Portal of Power!!!
I was counting on those things in Frostmarch in case someone forces a quest on me with that spell, haha
Only one AI player was left and she was on the crown of command, the warlock quest I picked was to take one life (so I couldnt complete it accidentally) and although I was able to roll a 6 and the plain of peril was flashing, after I pressed continue my turn ended and I did not move.
I was not able to complete the quest or "cheat" using those 2 cards so I was stuck and had to quit the game which is a shame as I had 17 STR and 17 CRAFT and would have slaughtered the remaining player if I could get there.
