More than 4 players?
I know it's been already discussed, but 4 players are definitly not enough. As the board will have to be redesigned for the Dungeon, can't you redesign it to fit more players? Today as each players are in one of the angle it makes sense to have 4 players. But what about tomorrow with several extensions like dungeon and city ?

there is no max with the board game.. (well technically its 64 with all 2nd edition expansions), i regularly play with 8 - 12, makes it much more interesting. they could have easily implemented that.. there is no reason to have a player in the corner when you could easily just have a sidebar list of players.. you really only need to see thier stats.. if u must look at thier cards, you could look deeper into it with a click on that particular character.. but no.. they decided to gimp it.. so i don't bother with multiplayer with this de version.. if i want multiplayer, i play the original 2nd edition version with 8-12 mates. Yeah it takes 8hrs plus.. by the end of it we're all rollin drunk and making mistakes and upsets a plenty.. makes for a fun day/evening..

The rulebook for the version of the game DE is based on explicitly states that up to 6 players can play a game of Talisman.

I'm taking back this thread from the dead in the perspective of the Highland release.

In the physical board, it was a problem to play with more than one region addon. You needed a big table, carrying a lot of things, etc. With the digital version, it's not the same problem you can add all the extension you want it will just make the boad smaller.

There is a problem though. With only 4 players and 2 extensions, you do not "meet" anymore. If one goes to the dungeon, one in the Highland and the 2 others stay on the main board but in two different regions, the game become a bit dull... Players just roll the die interact with the board and eventually reunite in the inner region.

I really think more players, not 123123, but 2 more would be nice!

Someone needs to port this over to tabletop simulator, then you could play as many as you want.

Someone did and it was taken down I'm guessing for copyright reasons

Personally, I think it's just right the way it is now, Once you have all the expansions, the screen will be crowded enough, adding two more players would clutter it up way too much. I'm sure the devs had considered making it 6 players at one time, as they have tried their hardest to make it as much like the "real thing" as much as possible. I sincerely think if they could have, they would have. I really doubt this will ever be added.
Well, i'd really like to play with more friends since many bought humble bundle, but I can't imagine how could additional 2 characters fit in the screen so they won't cover anything important. I think that if you have any ideas how could it look like, you could write to support or here on steam forum.

I agree, only 4 players will make for a very empty board soon. The table top game is for up to 6, so that's the minimum I think we need, but I'd like to see options to go past, to 10 or 12 even.
