How does the martyr's sacrifice mechanic work?

How do I sacrifice lives as the Martyr? I played her yesterday, but never saw any "sacrifice life" button during fights.

When you engage a strenght enemy or another char, you have the option to sacrifice a live before the fight start, this means you auto win the fight.

You have to have at least two lives. Instead of fighting in strength (battle), you choose to sacrifice a life and win automatically. Some people think armor should protect you from someone "dying at you".

Waitaminute...you mean some people actually think that ordinary metal armour should protect them from magic? Now I know that all bets are off in the land of Talisman, but this still sounds silly to me!

Yes, there have been questions about why armor doesn't get rolled against in lost psychic battles, and even someone asking why his armor didn't protect him against the Martyr dying at him.

There have even been questions of why you only get to roll for one kind of armor. Also I agree, Digital Edition was mostly meant for people who already knew what Talisman was.
