Literally in hell, please help

I got this game recently and I've been playing for so long. Literally I'm at the crown of command, but the AI keeps healing all their health back. I can only do one damage a turn. What the hell am I supposed to do now?

The command spell is absolutely useless. 50% chance to do 1 damage. And yet I'm being bodied by an AI that will not leave the first area. Is there something I'm missing here? is there no way out of this???

For your current game there’s nothing you can do.

In future games, go to the house rule settings and turn on “No More Lives”. With this rule enabled once someone gets to the Crown of Command no one can heal or gain lives for the rest of the game.

I would also suggest picking a different ending. The default one sucks, as you can see.

Like Keith says - the default ending is dreadful and if you luck is out, it can take an annoyingly long time to finish the game - if you are a new player , a much better ending is "race to the crown" whilst you get to know the game better

Unlike you, the AI doesn't fear the passage of time - as long as it can see a way to survive, it'll do it, even if that's highly annoying for a human player unfortunately.

as other players have pointed out, you can enable house rules in the future to stop this from happening again.

No more lives works, but I've had clutch games where a comeback is only possible because of healing. Also this doesn't help with infinite loops that happen before someone reaches the crown of command. My favourite solution is a 100 turn limit.
