Warlock Quest

Hi everybody,

I'm actually playing a game with the Frostmarch expansion and the Warlock ending. I have to complete 4 quests for him, but in the beginning of the game one of them was 'roll a dice to accept a quest'. I rolled a 1, and that card with the description is still in my inventory. I thought that I should kill an enemy as that's what you have to do when you roll a 1 in the warlock quest table, but that doesn't seem to be the objetive.

How can I know what should I do to complete this quest? Is there any precise description in game? Because the card of the inventory is still saying the same 'roll a dice to accept a quest', with a dice showing a 1 in it.

The 1) result is the worst possible result, you should have rerolled it. It's: "1) Take 1 life from another character".

Oh, btw. You roll a die and check the Warlock's Cave space (in the Middle Region) to see what happened.

Thanks for the help! It was easy and I finally completed the 4 quests.

Now I have another problem in the same game. I cant access to the inner region, doesn't matter what do I roll, it will never let me cross from the portal of the middle region to the inner one. Another char is in the inner, in the first place where I should get if I try to cross.

I have the 4 quests completed and the talisman. Is this a bug? I think it's not the first time this happens to me. I remember another game where I couldn't cross with the other warlock ending activated (can't remember which dlc has this ending).

You cannot enter the Inner Region (through the Portal of Power) if you have an unfinished Warlock's Quest. You must have all of them completed to be able to enter the Inner Region through the PoP (this was changed in the Cataclysm expansion).

I have completed the four initial quests and didnt take any new so that shouldnt be the problem.

So now you can go into the Inner even with unfinished quests?!

Does the Warlock not give a quest card when you roll a die? I normally check my quest cards. Completed ones have a tick or some similar indication don’t they?

As you can see, after rolling a 3 from my position, I cannot enter the Portal of Power to get where the alchemist is.

You'll be able to see my inventory too. 4 warlock quests, all of them completed.

interesting-definetly a bug of some kind, maybe the rolled quest, will have to test it to see if that is the case
