Online games are saved automatically
If everyone leaves before the game is over you can use the resume button that's located in the top right side of the online menu.
Once the people you want to play with are in the lobby you can click start game.
Must note, not everyone has to be in the resume lobby for the game to continue and the players who are missing will be replaced with AI. However these players can still re-join the resume while it's in progress.
Hope this helps ^_^
I always miss a few rounds after loading an online game.
Any idea how to save? Is there a button?
You can only have one ongoing online game, there is a work-around to have multiple games at once not very praticla but works.
As far as I know, the game save at every turn, but just to be safe I always wait until it is the host turn again, ask other players to leave and then the host leave the game. This way the game will resume at the start of the host turn, if you used anything (spell, object, etc) during the turn and then leave, all the turn will go back at the start of the host (or whoever the turn was) turn.
There is no function to manual save the game
Thank you for ruining it for me and my friend!
Stop lying to people that it can be saved!
If you make any action, throw dice for movement, attack, use a spell and so on, and before the turns end, then quit, the game will turn back to the start of the player's turn. So the message is correct but could be better explained to the player.
