There are only two Wolfsbane cards in the deck, so good luck getting it!
Also, what triggers the shift from day to night and back? It seems very random.
As a lycanthrope you can never steal an item as your battle reward. (or follower as a genie)
As a lycanthrope against a non-lycan with wolfsbane you are as good as dead already.
As said earlier some adventure cards outright kill you.
And all that comes at a trade off of you getting a +2 to battle rolls at night, where monsters are already at +1, so effectively +1 to rolls. Well worth it?
Really becoming lycan isn't that much better than getting a 1 on reaper as you are effectively a monster wandering the board rather than a fully fledged character striving to weaken your opposition. As you could expect.
Why?
Oh that would be a really nice house rule!
where did that came from? I've never seen that before. I just rechecked my rules sheet and the lycan cards (physical game) and unless I'm grossely passing over something I am not seeing that anywhere. Basically all I read says that at night you get +2 and must attack other characters and you get a +1 on the werewolf table.
I'd like to know if we've been doing something wrong all this time.
EDIT: just to make clear, of course at night you must attack a char you land on and it bypasses passive abilities, I'm not seeing how it changes anything by day.
It also means you can't take a life off anyone so if you have that Warlock quest then you are stuck. I haven't tried it personally but I also imagine the Battle Royale ending would be a continous cycle if you have two lycans facing off on one another.
