how to equip runestones

i have the season pass and the runestones house rules turned on, but i never see any options anywhere to use my runestones. i used to be able to use them and now it doesn't seem to want to let me. how do i equip runestones if they are activated and all unlocked but i'm not being given an option to use them? what buttons do you have to click to access runestones? i don't want to play without them and this is pretty frustrating. i haven't found anything online that points to where you're supposed to go to activate them. i haven't played since before the 2nd most recent expansion...have things changed that much in the game? if so, where were runestones moved to? they're no longer on the right after i select my character and opponents anymore so what happened to it? i just wanna play the game with my runestones please.

Start a game, activate the option for runesstones in the host menue, and then you can equip them after you have selected your char (ingame).

thank you. that was super frustrating. i kept searching all the menus and never actually started a new game. it's weird that you have to start a game now before selecting the runestones.

No problem, the way the runestones are added was changinged time ago, iam glad i could help you)

i figured something had to have changed. i appreciate your help and the fact that you got back to me so quickly that i can play a bit before work today. i'm so excited to play blood moon and the city

No problem, iam also playing online, and with several monitors you have always a look at the incomming messages)

smart. i just use my extra monitors to watch youtube or netflix while i'm gaming
