Touch of death achievement - What are the requirements?

As above. I tried bloodbath on and off, taken the last life of every character in about 20 games. Does it have to be PvP or can it be earned with AI? Local player doesn't seem to do the trick for me.

I too would like to know this. I've been unable to unlock it despite satisfying the requirements as stated: taking the last life of every (other) player in a 6-player game via combat.

It's one of two achievements that don't appear to unlock correctly for me (the other being "This is for you"). There've been a number of threads discussing these two achievements in particular but without a conclusive solution as far as I'm aware.

I would certainly like to get this game to 100% (currently 3 achivements short). Any further information is appreciated.

"This is for you" did not unlock for me for many games, but after latest patches, voila!
"Touch" on the other hand, won't unlock. The description says: "Kill every player in a 4 player game (in combat)." 4 player, not 5 or 6.

That's odd because the achievement clearly says "Take the last life of every player in a 6 player game (in combat)" for me.

That's very odd since it's clearly 4 player for me (polish language)... can anybody confirm that?

it most likely is 6 player and the changes to the translated version was probably not updated to reflect the update

Yes, my understanding is that there used to be a four-player cap but this was later expanded to six, so the translation mustn't have been updated.

I just managed to get the "This is for you" achievement so thanks very much for the tip. It's likely the "Touch of death" achievement is now working too, but I haven't actually managed to win a game this way in some time, so I'll have to try again.

Szpaw try getting the achievement in a 6-player game. It's actually quite hard to do but if you can manage it you'll know if the achievement works.

I just beat every other player in a six player game in combat (exactly as the achievement's description says) but I still didn't get it. I had Bloodbath on and the City as the only expansion.

This one still seems bugged to me. Any futher information is appreciated. It's quite hard to do because of the propensity for AI players to kill themselves (or each other) so I don't want to continue wasting time trying to get it without confirmation that it's working and the settings required to get it.

Is it online only? Surely not because that would be nigh on impossible (unless you had five friends willing to throw a game for you, but that's kind of cheating).

Let's try to figure this out szpaw.

You can't exit the game. You have to do it against 5 other players on a single playthrough.

I tried it recently on a alt account and couldn't get the achievement, thought maybe they changed to require an online game for it now, since I did it ages ago when it was only a 4 player game.
