I personally think that the Woodland expansion is great and makes the game much more fun. It's by far the most bug infested I've ever seen, though. Especially with Destinies, which isn't surprising given how they mess with the core mechanics of the game.
It doesn't seem like the most profitable region, unless you can pick Lucky Coin to grant yourself immunity from dark fate perhaps. So much can go wrong. I don't know if I'd want to spend much time in there during a competitive game.
I did the same as Sojiro and it solves that problem, however it has an unusual effect on your fatebound effect in the Woodlands. ie I had 2 light fate 0 dark but the AI saw me as unbound
Also, this houserule should have no influence whatsoever on your bound status. If you use Bound By Alignement, on the other hand, a Neutral character will be Unbound regardless of how their Fate tokens are flipped.
Thanks for clearing that up, I do have Bound by Alignment chosen, Ill change that next game.
The original plan was to release Woodlands in Juli and not Juni, so the DLC was rushed, it would be better if the beta wouldn`t have stopped so fast.
There are basically just two sideboards to go at the start of game - City (to buy a stiletto) or Woodlands (to at least use good path bonuses and/or get a destiny).
