FR: Searchable Card List

It would be nice if there was a way to look up cards when you aren't playing the game. Yes you can go through expansion by expansion and click on the "Browse Pack" and then scroll through the list - but come on this is what computers are for!
It would be useful to be able to "search deck" and find all cards that match your search criteria so (I) can get to know them better, or confirm a question.

I second this. Occasionally I’ll want to see a card to understand why something happened the way it did.

Talisman Wiki is ok but in-game searching would be quicker and nicer. Also, are there any differences between the Talisman Wiki and the digital edition?

If it's something that happened, the gamelog will most likely have an entry for it.
If you find the name of the card you can click it and it'll bring it up for you to view it whilst in game.

A searchable thing like this would be nice so we'll bear it in mind for the future, but it does take time away from other feature development e.g. expansions, characters (our team isn't big).


WRT Talisman Wiki - it's not got changes from the digital version listed on there because it's primarily a resource for the board game and isn't maintained by us. There are some differences between the two, but only a few. We may well make our own list of things we've intentionally changed / errata'd.

Thanks Tyr! Another one of those cool hidden/secret features! :P. That works for me! Now that you mention it, I’m sure I have viewed a card that way, but it had completely escaped me, sorry.

I must say however, that when the game ends there is no way to view the game log anymore. In a game with a hidden ending the other day the AI player won and it all happened so quickly I didn’t even see what the ending was! It didn’t even flash the ending card on the screen for a brief second before zooming in to the character on the Crown with no other option than to proceed to the XP screen.

I know this was raised during the player consultation a while back. Some people would like the option to export the entire game log at the end (or have a “store game logs” option in the preferences that writes them somewhere at the end of a game) but being able to still access the game log before proceeding to the XP screen would be nice.

Viewing cards from the log screen seems to be disabled for iOS. Is that intentional?

Meta would be easier if we could see full lists of all cards in each expansion.
