Android version online only?

I tried to play offline talisman and tries to connect to play profile. That is totally new thing. Why u changed that? I dont mind the achievements just to play the game i bought inmy mobile even without internet or data

Whilst connected to the internets GPGS will require a sign in (something you can then sign out of through the play online tab) but if you're not connected to the internet (and you're signed out of GPGS) then you can play without logging in.

Thanks for the reply. Well seems that is not working with this update. Horus heresy works fine offline. But talisman tries to connect to google play, gives a error message, and then tries again, gives an error message... and so on

Hi Lombardic, that sounds similar to a problem I had with one of my game apps on Android. Turned out to be more a problem with Google Plays Games. Have you tried going into Settings/Apps/ tap on Google Play Games then /Storage and Clear Cache? If that doesn't work you can try Clear Data and then log back in, that worked for me. Might be a long shot but it may work.
