On the season pass..quick question!
Is this game still actively getting updated with content that'd end up on the Season Pass, or is this abandonware that I ended up getting too late?

Because the pass would fill in a few patches (Approx~31USD worth at present. 5 expansions.), I figured it'd be a good buy BUT only if there's content upcoming that'd add to the game. If I piece meal the purchases, it'd still be below the pass if I paid for the singular components each. If the Season Pass applies to some upcoming content (IF ANY!!!), then it'd be the move to make. Figured I'd ask before I made a potentially uninformed purchase...

The season pass is done, any new content will no longer be included, just like the last 3 expansions are not included in the season pass.

If you get the season pass you get all the expansions released today but the latest three that are not part of the season.

If you want to buy all expansions from the 4th edition it would cost you a lot more than the cost of the season pass so it is still worth to get even though its development is done.

The game is not abandonware - it is still being developed and supported

However I assume that the point of "season passes" is that they expire at the end of whatever passes for a "season"?

And that if you buy all the expansions piecemeal, are they available to you permanently but only have as many of them as you actually buy? but if you buy a season pass, you get them all but only till the "season" ends?

In other words, if you buy them all individually, do they render season passes redundant?

Season pass = you get all expansions of a given "season". You get them permanently just like you would if you bought them separately.

You can think of it like a "bundle" containing a certain amount of expansions.
