The Deep Realms expansion
Hi

I have compared the digital version (including the forthcoming expansions announced in season pass) and the original version. The digital version covers all expect.. one small expansion. The Deep Realms.
As it seems this mini expansion connects the tiles of two major expansions, Dungeon and City, I dont know if its covered somehow from the previous ones.
Link for that expansion here

Any plans for this expansion?
I would like to have them all ;)

Hey-oh!

There are a few issues with how we will go about putting the Deep Realms to store as it's an expansion that requires expansions but that's our problem, it will at least be part of the season pass.
I would personally like to see the Lost Realms, which was made by Jon New as a bonus add-on to Deep Realms.
Having both (The Timescape and the Lost Realms) would be great.

Great news - :)

Same here, I'm one of the most faithful Timescape lovers, and wouldn't mind buying it separately as well.
I will pay 6,99 euro for the Timescape because this is worth whole new region without promotion now.

This should be pretty simple to handle. If one or both of the normally required expansions is either not owned or simply turned off, just have them enter the Deep Realms directly via the Ruins and City spaces of the Outer Region. They could only move to the first space of the Bridge or Tunnel of their respective side.

For the Loot Piles, at the beginning of the game, have the program draw Adventure cards until 3 Magic Objects and 4 Objects are drawn. Place the 3 Magic Objects on the Throne Romm space as Treasure replacements and place the 4 Objects on the Rat's Nest space as Armoury & Magic Empourium replacements. Then have the game reshuffle the Adventure deck.

If the Lost Realms is ever made in DE format (please please please!!!), entering without the Highlands and/or Woodlands would be the same, just directly from the Crags and Forest spaces of the Outer Region. The Dwarven Forge has its own deck for rewards, so no change necessary there. Instead of Destinies in the Elder Village, you could draw Adventure cards until 3 Followers are drawn and place them there instead, then reshuffle the Adventure deck before the game starts.

Alternatively, you could simply include the Treasure, Armoury, Magic Emporium and Destiny decks when the Realms expansions are enabled, since the work for them has already been done. They just won't be eligible to be drawn in any other way without the parent expansions being owned/activated.

Edit - Just remembered that in the Lost Realms, there are cards that refer to the Highland and Woodland decks. In those cases, just have them draw Adventure cards instead. Also, some Trails move characters to specific spaces in the Highlands and Woodlands. In these cases, move the character to the Crags or Forest instead.

I think big fat disclaimer is probably the best way to go, it's how other games handle similar problems.

This is the best solution I think.
Forgot to mention in addition to The Lost Realms, there's the entire Realms Collection, which includes additional cards for Nether Realm and Deep Realm. For information on the expansion or to download it here's the link to Jon New's Talisman Islsnd site:

Make it free for those who own both City and Dungeon. Problem solved:feste:

Talisman Digital would be the perfect opportunity to finally add The Lost Realms as an official expansion. One can dream.
Timescape and Astropath FTW.
Well, IMHO and as far as I remember, the Lost Realms fits the game's theme while Timescape doesn't.
Despite the former being unofficial material, if I'm not mistaken.
Timescape was official, but not for the fourth edition (I've played it and it was Games Workshop edition. But, you know, once upon a time, Games Workshop published Call of Cthulhu adventures, Blockmania board game. Those were the days...)
