Can't heal?
Seems the roommate and I encounter all kinds of problems. On two separate games now, we've lost the ability to heal for no apparent reason. Nobody has any items, spells, or followers that would prevent healing, and the ending doesn't seem to have any impact on healing. However, when my evil character landed on the Itinerant Priest, I didn't gain a life from it. When my roommate used the Runesword to kill something, he didn't get a life from that, either. We can't figure out what is causing us to stop being able to gain lives. It was the same thing before. NOTHING would let us gain a life in a previous game. Not various pools with life on them, not healers, not his character's ability to gain up to two lives under certain circumstances. NOTHING. Any ideas what is causing it and how to prevent it?

I can only think of the obvious one... which I'll mention (and risk getting blasted) If someone has reached the crown of command and the 'no more lives' house-rule is switched on?

Definitely not that. Nobody was on the CoC in any instance of us not being able to heal.

If you see it happen again can you post a screenshot of the board, a screenshot of the inventories expanded and a screenshot of your log?

If there's something super specific that's causing a bug we might be able to recreate it by setting up a game as close to yours as possible.

I don't know if this is relevant, but I did have the house rule on one game. Someone got to the Crown, but because they didn't meet the requirements for the ending, got sent back to the Plane of Peril. However, the game counted it as someone on the Crown for the rest of the game. So no one was able to heal for the last 50 rounds or so before I finally won.

that is how that house rule works-someone just has to enter the CoC, it doesn't matter if they stay there.

I also ran into this bug at least twice (two different games). Here is the info from my most recent game where I wasted a huge amount of time healing at the Waterfall before I noticed it wasn't doing anything. https://steamcommunity.com/sharedfiles/filedetails/?id=2518903834, https://steamcommunity.com/sharedfiles/filedetails/?id=2518904788, and the log is apparently hidden otherwise I would post it as well.

Was a character denying you the heal life using dark fate and a destiny card?

No cards popped up when I would fail to heal, my life counter just wouldn't increment.
