The timing for using special objects, such as The Orb of Prophecy Treasure card.

The Orb of Prophecy lets me draw a replacement Adventure card, which I must encounter, but whenever I click on the Orb in the usable objects field, it simply disappears and brings me to my inventory of objects.

What is the timing for using it? Or is there a bug?

Well, my gaming session with this treasure is over now.

But when I tried to double click in the inventory of objects, it only lets me ditch it or dismiss the selection.
Should I have double clicked in in the usable objects field?

I could have sworn I tried it.

hmmm-was there something in effect that would have prevented using magic objects or were the cards harbringer cards-i know the orb doesn't work on those cards. other than that-i have no idea, double clicking should have worked-when the card turned blue.
Also, an idea-when were you using it-you have to use it after you draw the cards but before you click the encounter button.
