There was a character guide that came close to that, but it's not there anymore.
For instance, at first the elf could be described as weaker than most - and when you introduce woodlands, you write that the Elf becomes more powerful since he can use his ability in the Woodlands.
What is hard is that you also have to cover how the strategies change when you play with Sudden Death and/or Bloodbath as well as cover some endings.
I had started to do it but i gave up once i started my PhD. Maybe I will come back into it one day. I believe the current version is too long and could use a lot of fleshing out. And I do not introduce any expansion yet.

I would call it tedious rather than difficult. I would say alternative house rules are of a low priority to cover in a strategy guide, I could do without them.
The link does not work.
I think it's best to play with one or two small expansions and no more than one corner board expansion at once.
Add too much and things may get cluttered.
You can also opt to play with just the characters of an expansion without the extra cards.
