night of dancing skulls perma resurrection - bug or intended?
we only recently started playing and randomly drew this ending, but we don't understand it.

while everyone was killed and then tried to get out of the spirit realm, the last player to be a ghost only "lost the game" for the standard 1 turn until they resurrected as a random character, leading to us getting killed over and over and over again with no end in sight.

is this supposed to happen?
is this ending not playable without "no respawn" ?

Did you draw this ending via Tapestry Rewoven, by any chance?

unfortunately with the way we play and our knowledge of the cards so far(essentially 0) i don't remember for sure if the ending was simply revealed or the result of a card.

we essentially random everything including addons, endings ect.

are you saying drawing it through a card just bugged our game?

I'm saying that in one of my previous games Night of the Dancing Skulls was chosen this way, then after my next turn two remaining players - Archon(me) and Specialist - were killed. I always play with No Respawn, so I won that game.
Kinda trying to figure out if it's a bug only with Tapestry Rewoven ("take a secret look" doesn't mean "reveal") or with the basic rules too (respawn shouldn't work after someone was on the Crown of Command).

at least it seems to be a bug then.

we tried no respawn, which i assume would fix it either way, but it made it incredibly unfun to play with friends for obvious reasons.

I just finished a game that started with a revealed ending, then Tapestry Rewoven was drawn. After a few round, just after I ended my turn, for no apparent reason the ending was suddenly revealed to be night of dancing skull. At that point everyone became a ghost, apart from the Swindler that was already a ghost and was killed (I play with no respawn). Something is off.

Was just playing - got clockwork raven, looked at top card of adventure deck, phantom (stranger) so no effect. Turns go around.. comes back to my turn, player 2 casts immobilize on me then suddenly everyone dies and becomes a ghost. Somehow the ending got revealed as night of the dancing skulls. No one was near the crown, it was only turn 3 of the game.

Several of the hidden endings for this game are still bugged-they reveal themselves early in the game.
The ones that i have seen this happen on are crown of fire, spreading flames, runic revolution and dancing skulls and the cult of the damned.
Not sure if this happens with judged by fate yet.

Just chiming in that I ran into this one last night as well:
played a game with random ending and player respawn (hotseat). The ending reveal came on turn 1: Night of the Dancing skulls; very fun and fitting for Halloween.
After a bunch of more turns the penultimate ghost (ai) reaches their grave-marker and all get turned into ghosts again. The final ghost, however, dies and respawns as a new character.
Really hope this kind of thing can be fixed soon; having the possibility of an un-finishable co-op game is bad, especially with such a nice premise for an ending.

I've played over 1200 rounds in a single game over several days - just me and the AIs. Ran out of Veil cards & now the game can't proceed. Very frustrating as will have to abandon the game and I NEVER do that!

I'm personally always too shy to go to crown when i have only 345 strength. I think a good number is 500 strength, and 500 craft of course. In addition to that, if I can get 100 fate and say 200 life, then I'm starting to feel ready for the crown.

By the way, I had a crash happen after the 87th rebirth of the Warrior AI. I can provide a video if you want - it's just a bit long though so it might take a while to upload.
