explain the devil's minion to me

can someone explain why the devil's minion(when played by the ai) is down by one life-he will go to the graveyard-not encounter it(which he never does even if he has no fate) and then teleport to the village and pay a gold to heal himself. I know this has been discussed to death-by the antics of the ai devil's minion are by far the worst(second only by the sage). Can something please be done about this.

lol-later on in the game-devil's minion down to 2 lives and no gold and he actually used the graveyard to heal. I guess he wanted to make me into a liar.
