My first idea would actually be quite an old one:
Making it so that you can see Gold and Fate of all characters all the time.
2nd: Making team play possible (letting players choose team 1, team 2 etc...) before the game starts.
3rd: Having all spaces in high resolution, not just the one you're on and the others blurred. Game would look much better that way and it's easier on the eyes.
In general:
Thanks a lot for your continued support! I remember when I first took this game a couple of years ago.. The UI was plain horrible and I couldn't get into it at all.. Now the game realls feels great, and the expansions add a ton of strategies too. First time I become so addicted to a board game :P
I agree with them all.
My own ideas:
1. Add the Clairvoyant Follower.
2. Add decks editor.
3. Add the possibility to move cards from one deck to another. If someone doesn't want to play the Dragon or Nether Realm expansions, but they want extra dragons/dangers in the Adventure deck, they could move some dragon/nether cards to the ADV deck.
4. Add a gallery of cards. I'm a sucker for Talisman artwork, and would love to have an option to unlock (and download to my PC) a new full artwork of the cards each time I play the game.
5. Add a characters creator. It was mentioned half a year later after the Shapeshifter was released that a characters creator is considered. I think the current abilities of the characters should each have an ID and a cost, and players should have a number of points to spend on character stats and abilities. Then players could save the characters and dhare them among themselves.
I am thinking of The Reaper, The Frostmarch, and The Sacred Pool expansions here, which have cards that can work in any other game without needing to play the full expansion.
Of course, a deck editor might just be better, as that basically includes all this. But maybe the above could be added as faster options for those who do not want to bother with creating decks themselves.
*Endless number of "Terrain Cards" as a houserule.
2. A proper manual for the game. Now its just a link to webpage. Maybe a pdf similar to those currently available for the board game. That will make the game more 'professional' :)
3. Option to 'lock' rotation of the board.
4. Unlocking cosmetic features as a cloth board, or a wooden table, or some audience pets etc... while you level
5. Achievements have their own page in-game
6. Golden heroes. When you win an amount of games with a specific hero, you unlock his 'golden' miniature version. Cosmetic feature but fun :)
1. One of the things in the Horus I like is the ability to level up the characters so they start the game with some extra cards. It would be nice to have that in the Talisman as well. That would add some replayability as well. Especially for the less popular characters.
2. Another thing I would like to see is the ability to add the Runestones to the Adventure deck. Many of them aren't really more powerful than some of the Magic Objects or Followers, so having them won't ruin the balance of the game. And this way they more often will see the light of day and the game.
1) Character ban/enabled list regardless of expansions enabled.
2) Deck editor, to remove undesired cards (mostly to trim down on the bloated deck sizes with too many expansions.
3) Ok, this one I might just be confused on, but I would like it if the ending "Challenge for the Crown" were a house rule, not an ending so that you can play through the inner region and dragons tower while still having an alternate ending. As it stands now, it reads you go through both inner boards then you confront the dragon king with no chance of an alternate ending.
