To know if it is Night or Day, you have to pay attention to the general lighting of the board:
Enlightened = Day
Darker = Night
Agreed. I made a thread about it I was so annoyed. I hope they seriously consider giving us a little sun/moon icon somewhere on the ui or something.
If the board is dark it is Night, if not it is Day. Unless a person has some sort of visual impairment then Day and Night should be obvious.
I don't like the time card. It is a pointless and space wasting addition to the game for me as I can already tell if it is Night or Day just by looking at the screen. However, as I wrote above, if someone has some sort of visual impairment then they should have an indicator but it should only be an option for those who need it, and this indicator should be small so as to free up more screen space for those extra cards that will eventually most likely have to appear on screen when future expansions are added to the game.
if bloodmoon expansion is active-there is a day/night card-but a) it is not always present-for no reason that i can tell it disappears then reappears and b) always stays day up-so that currently it is useless as it is. So, at least currently-there is already a card that is supposed to be in the corner(and sometimes is)-and, yeah, if they are not gonna use it, free up the space-but since it is there-they should use it-and just have which ever side up that it is.
