This coupled with how poor the reviews are so far really gives a poor impression of your plans for this game, and you as a development studio in general. Could you please explain?
Hello, family sharing is Enabled, I see it on the Steam store page. Are you using a press/creator key? Apparently steam doesn't allow those keys to use Family Sharing.
We've been at Summer Games Fest, Awesome Indies streams and at Gamescom, but we don't control the press and what they publish. We've put out press releases and we've seen coverage of the game from kotakue, PC Gamer, and some others.
We're continually optimizing but it's a slow process as content gets added all the time. Our game is resource heavy because of the big open world. As for people saying it's "unplayable", I can't tell if it's due to their hardware or they're annoyed that we don't have key rebind yet (it's been prioritized and working on it now).
But your Youtube channel and Steam page (your direct points of contact with your main customer bases) have been sparse at best? Your Twitter meanwhile is mostly a circle of reposting other outlets reposting you? I don't think this was handled well at all.
A couple of showcases the week before launch, or giving keys to reviewers ahead of launch would have changed everything. Instead we were left to decide based on demo footage that is several months old.
Everyone is 110% on fixing the major issues people are experiencing, there isn't any resources to make a demo build. Steam Deck will be looked at but we have not optimized for it at all yet.
Thank you for the feedback! It's always tricky with making a good tutorial to help get people used to the game systems, sometimes we end up being too cautious and some people get impatient. The introduction of rapid traversal and aerial combat are relatively new to this genre and is admittedly take a bit longer to get used to.
Please post a review if you get a chance, thanks! :)
I'll pass on your feedback to the team!
We've been playing with my gf in co-op when suddenly after my character went to sleep - she loaded succesfully (she is hosting) and i was stuck on a black screen.
We tried the following:
1) she re-hosted server
2) she restarted game and re-hosted server
3) I restarted my game AND my PC
4) I created a new character and tried to connect
all these resulted in black screen on my side
I also tried to start my own single player world and was able to play with both my characters.
For today we sadly can't continue playing until it will be fixed :(
Really sorry you ran into this strange bug, we've seen it a couple of times are actively tracking it down.
biggest concern i see being how fast days move? sadly feels like i dont get much time to harvest, craft and build like i wish i could, would there possibly be a way to give players the ability to choose how fast time moves? cause as solo feels too fast.
that being said i havent gotten too far so i dunno if it gets easier as you go along.
(please sleep more if you can tho!)
