Local multiplayer compatible?

The game looks great, but not many friends of mine are on pc yet, so i'm curious if local multiplayer is planned or in the game.

There's currently no local multiplayer mode and it's not currently planned.

I think it should be implimented I have friends that dont really have a good pc and its difficult to find people to play with :c and multiplayer split screen couch gaming needs to make a return those were the good ol days XD

but.. this game is empty on MP and yet its the perfect game genre for local multi.

i don't find this game interesting without local multiplayer. With local multiplayer though I think it'd be very fun.

Yeah what's the point of early access if you're not gonna put in the suggestions of people who want your game? I don't get the logic either.

owch, I was going to but this because the video looked like I could do a split screen on my steam machine with 4 people.

It's basically useless to me without Local Multiplayer / Split Screen

This game would be perfect for a local party game!
Not including local multiplayer is a big waste of a potential great game, I totally see this being tons of fun with friends and a sucess between youtubers like Mark Plier and those who play party games.
As the game is not released yet I think you could try implementing this feature, IMHO this is the key element that is missing to make this game a great sucess!
As the online part which most devs usually point as the most difficult is already done, so I don't think it would be to much hassle to implement this feature :)

Ditto for the Local Game play. Wouldn't purchase without it. Have two young kids, and mostly only buy games we can all play on the TV together.

As someone who grew up on N64, GameCube and Halo -- I go to the local stores to buy a console for multiplayer gaming and lo and behold everything is only 1 or 2 player.

I come from a big family -- we had 16 player LAN parties playing Halo 1-3, the very concept of playing Bomberman, Super Smash Bros, Halo, or any other game without support for more than 2 players is nuts to me.

I think I represent a larger demographic too of people and a space in gaming that isn't filled at this time.

I was gungho to buy this but then I read the fine print and realized no local or online multiplayer and immediately pulled my hair out and removed from my wishlist.

TBH I wouldn't mind paying double the price they are charging now just to get local multiplayer, even if it comes as a DLC.

Couldn't agree more with these guys about local MP. Was about to buy it but noticed it doesn't have local MP. Would buy INSTANTLY if it had local multiplayer.

Yeap, I even checked if they bother to update the game to include local multiplayer but nope, that's a bummer and a wasted opportunity to have a great game to play locally.
