i haven't even bought it yet because it is online play only. But reading your post about how it is not played online much almost made me cry. Then almost cry again reading how people try to keep the dream alive by organizing on discord.

Yes, it is partially :) it's a bomberman mixed with goemon, from super bomberman R, although I don't play super bomberman R much, I thought the character design was nice :)

I forgot I bought this game and then found it again. Extremely disappointed that I paid them money for a game I can't play. Why on Earth did they not build in local multiplayer

I dunno they just abandoned this game. I think it had potential. I have quit playing it by now though :\
