those dont work for me either
i got it working by windows firewall rules I added port 7777 to windows firewall and in aplication settings i set vcd to send and recieve data
host and join friend games without port forward=server needs to be public without a password or i get the same error as you:)
test the ports online does it say they are closed like it does on my pc=my router wont port forward anything but i can still host and join friend games:)
unfortunately port forward hates my router/wont work but the main thing is my friends can join my invisible server:)
what brand of router do you have mine sux
Looks like you got port forward set up right also try more friends swap who hosts sometime a friends pc might be blocking the connection
Hard to explain maybe google how to set an application in firewall
I also added port 7777 to firewall but your port forward works so probly not have to add the port
"connecting..." text, followed by the "cancelled connection attempt." usually happens if friends pc is blocking the incomming conection from the host!
have you tried more vcd friends and swap hosting usually a public server wont chuck any errors
I will add you and try and join your game:)
-Close Steam
-Find the "UDKEngine.ini" file under the game's "UDKGame\Config" folder.
-Change this line: "NetworkDevice=OnlineSubsystemSteamworks.IpNetDriverSteamworks"
-To this line: "NetworkDevice=IpDrv.TcpNetDriver"
also to join me i found a workaround since you can see my server:)
i will move house of horror dlc out of my game so you dont get that gp horror downloading thing:)
after you buy the horror dlc i can put my dlc back in my game then we can play it:)
this download thing needs to be disabled otherwise wait long enough to get free dlc???????
