1000+ files missing=yep that fix it!
Keep the saves folder (keeps the office stash) and delete everything else in viscera folder
Now verify game cache will reinstall the game properly
What map does said crash happen on?
Anything unusual in the game log files after it crash on ya
Also can try this after reinstall
Open UDKEngine.ini with notepad
Change Port 27015 to 7777 and save the file=goodbye empty server list!!!
It fix Lan fail
It fix steam server browser
It fix ingame internet join server list=never empty always a server to join
It fix everything
Forward ports in router
UDP/TUPN ...........TCP too if lets you use all 3 of em!!

use static ipv4 address esp if on lan but fix will fix the broken lan list too

Add port 7777 to in and outbound rules and allow connection
In both inbound and outbound rules set steam.exe to allow connection
Do same for all the UDK.exe rules and all the viscera rules including the Sr and sw spinoff games
(Windows disabled connection by default=cancelled connect attempt windows blocks connection)
This Arma 3 server fix that works in VCD I made 5 years ago is still working!
Opt into steam beta
Create a static IPv4 address in network and sharing centre to get free static ip if router not support Nat traversal n forward ports via the static IP
That's if dynamic IP stops port forwarding from working when restart router or turn PC off n on again
Only way it works for me as nothing on the internet works at all as my router not support NAT traversal and it's ISP locked

Without that fix multiplayer doesn't work at all on every PC and router I have ever had=about 10 different PC n routers all had same problem on unboxing day=Microsoft broke it
Workaround if have medical rust workshop map if can't join any level=
Unsub or all sub to medical rust that map can break multiplayer in every map=radio tries to play 2 csgo songs on every radio in every level
Soda factory can also interfere with multiplayer along with any map that not green in the workshop map section ingame
If soda factory screws it up unsubscribe and reinstall the game again n reset the port tweak in UDKEngine.ini file
If WiFi is too slow use cable it's much better than WiFi
Also host and client content must match or it will crash
Make sure all are on a clean install n unsubscribe from any broken workshop maps
Most or all do work in multiplayer
Mine n fodder's n carthief maps all of those work in multiplayer

Fiddle with the sport O Matic lever for some extra fun n make sure you flush someone down the toilet so they get eaten by sewer monster:)
Play a game of ice hockey in multiplayer I double dare ya:)
Check PC not have dust in the heat syncs or fans sometimes you have to clean that too so ya don't murder it!

Wait 15 second n plug it back in to reset your router too incase that is killing the connection

Best if all players have all DLC and subbed to the same maps as eachother=less likely to freak out on you
if pc can take it max out the physics option=bins work better n trunk wont have a dance party
set fov to 110=ya wont spill anywhere near as many buckets as you usually do n it makes stacking much easier:)
I have done the first part of the paragraph about deleting and re-verifying the files. I started waste disposal (a map that crashed when played) in local multiplayer with 3 players and I was able to go on for way longer instead of the 5 minutes last time. Only one character was moving at a time so It was not accurate as 3 player moving around all at once.
I'm not 100% sure, but maybe all maps were giving me problems because we tried one map (santa's workshop) and crashed, then we tried a different one (waste disposal) and it crashed.
i thought splitscreen coop only support two players but if it support more i dunno if one of the gamepads are causing it
anyway trying that stuff firewall as last resort usually clears up all connection issues with online and offline/local coop
changing the port to 7777 fixed lan on my end as well as splitscreen for some unknown reason
maybe check the log file at top of log file folder list with notepad after it crashes
the last few lines might tell you why it crash=google error or post log file here
fodder myself or devs might be able to help you fix it
your coop session should not die on ya unless the walls are bleeding lol
almost sound like autosave is killing it try setting that to 0
since its a clean install it run much better
good idea to get others to reinstall too esp if had this game from early access or before vulcan dlc got added
i have alot of mods/maps installed=1 mistake when i make a map and multiplayer wont work so no mistakes=all mp works until the internet turns itself off n it takes alot of blood to crash the server(make a mess instead of cleaning to murder the server)
if devs update the game again=i probably have alot of workshop map hotfix updates to do to keep it running smoothly as dev updates usually break something esp rocks or multiplayer/both:)

run the udk.exe as admin compatabillity mode for win 7
use steam play button to play
join yourself in multiplayer=(dev test i use this to test my workshop maps in multiplayer debug)
start from steam play button host map online
alt tab out start udk.exe from game dir
join server with pc static ipv4adress in direct connect
alt tab between games to switch players=can get all multiplayer achievements ecept pass the torch on 1 pc
avoid alt tabbing in workshop maps that use outside terrain so ground wont disappear=known engine bug
useful if want to get the online achievements if cant find people to join in any map
32 bit seems more stable than 64 bit n the txt to speech works too
anyway sorry for the book but it shouldn't crash on you like that
maybe autosave is causing it turn that off set it to 0
If none of the above helps, then could you please post the contents of your Launch.log file here for review after a crash. It should tell us something about what went wrong.
You can find the file under the game's install directory: \Steam\SteamApps\Common\Viscera\UDKGame\Logs\
Others reported mp or game crash in offline mode after X amount of time
The fix was simple
Set autosave to 0 disabled
Go in VCD update tab from steam library and disable steam cloud sync permanently!
Put steam in online mode your friends list put that in online mode so you are visible to your friends!
Offline or invisible or sleep might cause it
Game wants to know it connects to internet
To bypass that turn the router off n it won't die on ya if playing offline coop or solo
Sounds stupid but I know this game from the inside of the Dev kit n deep into its behaviour
Engine has its quirks!
Sometimes it's something very simple
It could also be another program that interfere with Steam
Close all unused program=all crap on taskbar that you not using
Sound icon antivirus icon and steam icon and the GPU app icon along with the game icon should be only things on taskbar=essential services only=PC much faster too
Still post that log file if it crash on your side
Someone else is reporting a similar problem
I hope windows update didn't break something (again=windows defender has a cat fight with the game engine=windows defender sux) recently Bugrosoft Bugrows 10 is good at breaking games
As long as internet doesn't turn itself off=outages etc
The game should not crash in a coop session unless you paint the whole map red
I've recently played some multiplayer and it never crashed on me at all it just works although the internet sux in Australia n that works when it feels like it
The fix above I posted I been using since the day VCD had multiplayer added in vcd beta/Alpha n it's still working=it's the only fix that works I researched for very long time as coop never worked so I fixed it permanently online and offline
If playing split screen co-op it's best to have Xbox 360 controllers=or same brand of controllers for all players
Turn off steam workshop icon ingame if playing offline or local co-op
Then it won't timeout (crash the game)when it tries to search online for steam workshop map updates

Especially the end of the log as it seems like it can't find several objects or materials
Did you see any blue n white squares in waste disposal or was the map missing body parts etc?
Did you unsubscribe from any workshop maps that you took custom objects to the office??? Resub to maps you collected stuff from to clear error if custom objects are causing the office to crash at punchout
Sure ya reinstalled the game and not loading an old save file=starting new fresh map without loading any save files
Verify game cache doesn't work at all until all game assets are deleted
Open the viscera folder
Keep the saves folder so ya don't lose the office collection
Delete everything else in the viscera folder=
An empty viscera folder with a save folder in it
Verify the game cache to reinstall the game as 1st run clean install
Change the port back to 7777 if that fixed the empty server browser if port forwarding and windows firewall is correct or if 27015 is fine leave it as is
Looking at the log it looks like something is corrupt or missing and until whatever file/s are causing it are deleted it will continue to crash on ya
It shouldn't crash like that on you
Perhaps BlackEagle has a better idea especially if reinstalled and it's still missing or failing to read it's own files
If the installation is not corrupt only thing I can think of is to update
Direct X 9c and DX 11 n if PC can run 32 bit and 64 bit programs install both the 32 and 64 bit visual C++ runtime redist files below
Run the ue3 redist exe file as administrator in the games folder too!
Update dot net framework 4.5 (if it fails on win 10 ignore it n update current version of dot net)
If the directx installer in the games 1st run installer fails ignore it as it often fails to install just download dx 9c n install it as administrator
Make sure visualc ++ 2010 and 2013 redist is installed
Those files are on Microsoft website
Run windows update after that and restart PC
Try Playing again on both 64 and 32bit VCD n if windows 10 set the UDK.exe files in the game binaries folder
Both 64 and 32 bit exe to run as administrator comparability mode for windows 7
Use steam play button to start VCD
Windows will ask if ya want to run the game press yes n play co-op all day until the internet drops out or if the walls are dark red n too much blood crashes the server
It shouldn't crash unless you paint the walls with alot of blood
If you're copy is fine but the friends copy isn't get Freind to reinstall the game too
If is split screen co-op on 1 PC
Update the gamepad drivers
Split screen co-op only supports 2 of the same make of gamepad
IE
2 X Xbox 360 controllers (USB devices with a USB cord on em not wireless ones)
VCD one can't use 1 controller and the keyboard or mouse in split screen co-op on 1 pc
If it's Lan on 2 computers one machine has a borked game install reinstall game on both computers
Whatever is causing it isn't normal it's like the games upk files are corrupt or PC user is a guest=windows uac bug if you are administrator
To diagnose that try n copy and paste a blank txt file into the viscera mods folder
If get access denied message as administrator user then windows uac vs windows defender is bugged
Take ownership script will fix that if windows won't let you save copy or paste anything into the game install directory n gives access denied message you need administrator privileges to perform this action=wtf I am administrator
If you're administrator and get that error the game won't be able to read it's DLL files or be able to save the game correctly
Take ownership of program files x86 folder and all sub folders and files
Only use take ownership script for your version of windows and only administrator can use it
Look on bleeping computer website for an installer it adds take ownership option to right mouse button when clicking anything on PC and it fixes administrator thinks it's a guest windows defender uac bug=happens to me every time I get a new PC or if I reinstall windows=Microsoft broke it even if reinstall windows 789 times it bugged again
Don't take ownership of windows folder system 32 or 64 folders or the recycle bin
It ok to use script on everything else=it stop windows 10 from trying to kill itself and will stop it from working like faulty Xmas tree lights causing crashes and bsod screen in everything that is installed on PC
Then it lets you save files to program files x86 folder=uac bug fixed
If you're a guest get the administrator to give the guest full read and write access to the steam folder so VCD won't go haywire on windows guest user account
Running out of possible fixes for you
Something is not right=needle in a haystack to find what's causing it especially if it's a clean reinstall
It shouldn't crash like that
Also check the time limit option in multiplayer settings in the game options incase that is terminating the co-op session
If none of that Fix the problem wait for the Devs to help you they might have a better solution
If there is more of that log file post the rest of it here unless that's where it crash on ya on the last line log shows is where it crashes if log is incomplete
In steam library right click the game go to updates tab and turn off/permanently disable steam cloud sync for VCD
Open the viscera folder and find the autosaves folder
Delete all autosave files included the ones in that folders backup folder
Start the game and set autosave to 0 disabled
This will stop steam cloud from automatically reinstalling corrupt and deleted saves over n over again every single time you start the game=very annoying too as it also causes unreleased workshop maps to fail to upload to steam workshop after testing the level ingame(delete all the autosaves to fix it then it not fail to upload)=steam cloud is a right royal pain in the @$$ it screws up every UDK 3 and 4 game in my Steam library n all it takes to bug the cloud sync is 1 internet dropout juring gameplay of any game in my Steam library it causes crashes and it corrupts save files
Steam cloud sync is unwanted game feature n VCD n all unreal engine 3 and 4 game in my library work fine without it
Save the game from pause menu
The office will still autosave if use the office exit door after you punchout from a level
Now steam cloud won't Auto Bork the game after every reinstall or after internet dropouts during gameplay or if played offline and went online next week/tomorrow/next year n played online or offline co-op or if ya play solo by yourself
Disable the steam workshop icon in the games main menu if you playing offline so it doesn't crash when the mod installer times out especially if steam isn't running or if steam is running but the internet is down on ya router is disabled on ya taskbar or from network n sharing centre adaptor settings/options
Turn the workshop back on when playing online(router is connected to the internet) or if running the game from steam so don't miss out on workshop map updates
The steam workshop icon if left enabled in offline will crash the game after the mod installer times out when it tries to search the workshop for map updates etc
Best of luck this issue sounds frustrating to deal with=ouch
Try this 1st after you reinstall the game
Disable the steam workshop icon in the main menu 1st then play co-op offline=Start map from the beginning without loading any save files!
That might be what is causing it to crash X minutes into a co-op session
Check the time limit option too to make sure it's not kicking everyone off the session
Turn the workshop icon back on(when you can write stuff in here so the game can install and update workshop maps) PC internet is online
Turn it off when can't write stuff in here (PC internet is offline to stop the workshop installer from crashing the game when it times out searching for a workshop that doesn't exist)
If a corrupt save is causing problem start map as new and overwrite the borked save with the new save so it won't crash or go haywire n turn a door control panel into a gas cloud lever when you load that save
Old saves after game and workshop map updates and steam cloud often Borks some of or 1 or all your saves
Disable the cloud for VCD it much better
If I update a workshop map n your game updates the map n you have a save of that map Start map again and overwrite that save to update the save system so loading saves won't flush the toilet when you try n use the elevator etc
Same if Devs updated the game n load a save n the doors don't work in evil science
Another reason why steam cloud sux
Same if wonder why postal 4 crashes after Devs update the game=steam cloud completely f ucks the game up disable it's cloud sync and delete the autosaves to fix it but if not disable the cloud for that it reinstall the saves you just deleted every time you start the game=new game loads broken save file

Disable cloud deleted the saves again for the 798th time=Start new game=hooray I can play postal 4 without crashing the game until the Devs update the game again reinstall it n if the saves go haywire delete the saves and start a new game instead of complaining on steam forum P4 early access!
Same goes for VCD if n when it gets updated or if a workshop maps get updated use new saves for those n overwrite the existing saves for the level played to fix old saves from screwing up the map if load a save of it
All content must be current for the game to work properly especially if playing online co-op
(if see a firewall pop up press allow as if say no that can screw the game up if refuse firewall permission)now you can play co-op all day without any crashes
That is most handy especially if you don't have unlimited internet n ya turn it off to save on data usage???

Any game that runs on UDK 3 or 4 or 5 in ones steam library (DISABLE STEAM CLOUD FOR IT PERMANENTLY WHEN YOU BUY IT) and when ue5 games get released when the PS 5 comes out THEN STEAM CLOUD WON'T BORK THOSE GAMES TOO. N if a game update screws it up reinstall it n start a new game to fix it n if someone update a mod or map use a new save for it(overwrite the old save with new save)
Just like installing a Minecraft mod n it screws up the block I'd's n cubes turn into something different when you load a save but in UDK trigger 3 becomes trigger 168 after map or game updates vs old save files
Steam cloud totally screwed up Grounded too n it took me a while to Fix the steam cloud sync bug again n had to reinstall that game too
Cause of problem=internet dropouts juring gameplay and if play offline= next time you start the game steam syncs wrong data n screws games up when start the game after exiting the game n steam cloud reinstalls old corrupt broken saves over n over again every single time you start the game(can alt tab out of the game n literally see steam cloud automatically reinstall deleted saves n it drives you crazy to the max)=disable the cloud sync for all unreal engine games delete all the autosaves that you just deleted again to fix steam cloud bug

Reinstall the game if Devs update the game=verify game cache skips old game files (is that why I had a cooked PC folder from vcd alpha in my viscera folder after VCD left early access in VCD 1.0 full release=yep it's still broken after Devs deleted said folder in vcd beta said folder was still in my viscera folder after verifying the game cache 15391 times=8 files missing=still broken
verify game cache is useless until you nuke it 1st
Nuke it with Revo uninstaller if manually deleting game files vs verify game cache doesn't fix it will nuke the registry with it.
just backup your saves before ya nuke it n press the install button for said game in ya library n ya won't have to contact steam support esp if pressing the install button fails to install the game!
Running ccleaner or the all in 1 maintenance button in Glary utilities also fix windows up if said game is super stubborn=red dead 2 as an example people reinstall windows to try n fix it=still broken steam cloud f ucks it up too vs rockstar launcher=no point reinstalling windows lol n red dead 2 not crash on me n can play that all day
Steam cloud is like 1 drive=1 drive screws up windows 10 and steam cloud sync screws steam games up=disable both of em so it can't screw it up:)
Don't disable the cloud in steam settings only do it on the game updates tab so it doesn't break games like Dota 2 TF2 or portal 1 or 2=valves games need the main cloud!
Now that Microsoft recently force enabled the worst program ever n it won't let you disable it anymore=windows defender sux n is worse than a virus=welcome to Bugrosoft Bugrows 10 where everything doesn't work properly
Install avast antivirus or 3rd party antivirus is only way to disable that crap now from interfering with games
Don't use Norton or McAfee or it turns PC into the world's slowest boat anchor=it bricks ya pc so be careful when you update flash player that it doesn't install McAfee as that hard to get rid of
If you have avast especially the free version uninstall the avast safe price extension that screws games up too
Enable the web extension=never get a virus off the net
Never disable windows firewall or avast
Avast automatically whitelist your games for you=no issues with multiplayer vs avast
If the friend you trying to join online got vcd for free off a torrent site tell em to buy the game and both the DLC
Tell em to Nuke it with Revo uninstaller Pro and verify the game cache in steam to fix the game then go play online co-op
Online or offline co-op won't work on a torrent=enjoy the virus
Co-op doesn't work offline if the steam workshop icon is enabled it will crash several minutes after starting a session
Mod installer will time out n crash the game
Turn it back on when PC internet is on to keep mods up to date
Turn it off again when go offline again then play mods etc in co-op offline all day without any crashes
Host content must match client content for co-op to work properly
Co-op also won't work properly if someone cheated the map in the level editor of if host has medical rust map installed and client doesn't have that map=radio tries to play 2 csgo songs on every radio in every level=cancelled connect attempt on every map until ya both sub or unsubscribe from it
Co-op won't work in split screen on 1 PC if try to use keyboard mouse and 1 game controller
Use 2 controllers that are the same as you can't use keyboard and mouse in split screen co-op
2x USB Xbox 360 controllers work fine
So do PS3 PS4 or Xbox One controllers if install the 3rd party software for those especially if they are wireless controllers
Disable the steam workshop icon if ya play offline
Turn it back on when you're online then it won't crash
over the years of modding this game (almost 6 years/since the day it got a level editor) I have had every damn problem you can think of n more than is written in the forums entire bug report forums or whatever you can do a google search on (learning to use the level editor without breaking the game a miriad of times in so many weird ways and help from devs has taught me alot about debugging this game and forcing it to work when it dioesn't want to work
all of said issues were perplexing but easy to fix esp after tossing Nvidia in the incinerator n going for AMD as Nvidia hates unreal engine with avengence(lags in everything when AMD has no issues) but ops problem is not the nvidia driver or the gpu

number of players is bugged it always says 0 players join a server n be 1 of 30 max players on a server
most i had on my server was 28 players in a workshop map n 26 players on the robot map=lots of fun
then red dead 2 will work instead of crashing n multiplayer will also magically fix itself in Grounded and VCD=press join and it will connect=no such thing as cancelled connect attempt i fixed that permanently=servers never fail to connect n play VCD all day in multiplayer with no crashes

basically everything ive written here n all over this games forums will fix almost every damn bug steam vs unreal engine 3 or 4 vs BUGROSOFT BUGROWS 10 can throw at you
play local split screen co-op offline with 2 players using 2 xbox 360 controllers or ps3 ps4 or xbox 1 controllers n can only use 1 type of controller for all players and you can't use the mouse or keyboard=disable the steam workshop icon so it doesn't crash a few minutes/an hour into your session then play the game all day but don't forget to feed the sharks n put lit tnt in your freinds bin or suck em up with a vacuum cleaner or flush someone down the toilet or push player 2 in front of a garbage truck or zap em with a shrinking gun then suck em up with a vacuum cleaner n shoot em with a machine gun when they respawn then make em clean themself up while you stand there doing nothing watching them mop up then go n spill thier bucket when it gets dirty n if they stop playing build a wall of crates around them n put dirty buckets on top of it so when they come back from the toilet they make a mess trying to get out of box jail=yes its a thing in workshop maps along with a working 3d portal gun=portals dont stick to walls you can shoot open portals all over the place (Im gonna have to make a new portal map the gun is pretty cool n so is the fire hose so can clean without a mop=hose the blood off the floor)
getting inside a shopping trolley then getting ran over by a train in VCD is pretty funny too
play multiplayer online is way better than splitscreen local=then can use any gamepad and the mouse n keyboard at same time
on xbox 360 controller=left stick to walk
mouse for everything else=very smooth controls and ya wont walk like a robot or spill your buckets
set the fov to 110 It makes VCD alot easier to play esp stacking crates n barrels and putting things in bins so it not go on the floor
console command= behindview
use that to play VCD in 3rd person mode with pickup highlighting disabled=takes a while to get used to the hands hitbox but is fully playable n ya welder has a bent laser beam and you can see your players shadow and who you spawn as=theres lots of janitor characters
can only read pda n paper notes if if in 1st person n theres no hand animation if look at yourself in a mirror

theres currently 2 internet servers up that i can join from steam client server browser today press join and it starts the game for you then it automatically joins the server for you=they are not steam freinds servers these are public servers anyone can join
list was full before 27015 was added n if ya change it to 27015 it doesn't work at all=empty n it breaks lan too n multiplayer wont work at all

backup your saves=multiplayer is lots of fun if ya don't clean the place n make a mess n murder eachother instead then go to the office n trash that too
replace your saves after ya stop hosting to fix ya office so can trash it again next time ya do online co-op and never lose the office collection even if ya get fired you keep your office stash safe
my office stash is 7 years old:)
don't forget to disable that blue workshop icon in the games main menu if you play coop offline then the game wont crash
I'd just like to point out that the log file you posted seems like it's probably just not all been copied to the steam post, since there is a limit on the length.
If you can, post the later half. It's important to see the end of the log, as that's usually where the cause is, and where crash-logging happens before processing ceases.
From what I can tell, the start of your log file seems normal.
Those few missing objects is normal, as it's for back-compatibility with old save data.
Since you don't have any old data, only new stuff(which is normal) it can't find it and complains.
