When was the last time you played it on Mac? If it's less than a year ago, nothing has changed with the game. It's possible that an update to your OSX system has messed with things.
Unfortunately I'm not exactly sure what that could be...
Beyond the resolution thing, I don't really have any ideas and I've been unable to find reliable info on the issue.
Some sort of compatibility mode or drivers issue perhaps?
Do you have any other Unreal Engine 3 games you can test to see if they are working?
Could be something about your system that the engine no longer gets on with.
If I set the application to be able to control the computer in the securities preferences then the game crashes the computer on startup. As above, the mouse can move but nothing else responds. The UDK icon starts bouncing in the application bar and then the computer locks up.
If I turn off the allow checkbox in the security preferences, then the game runs but I get the odd mouse issues described above in the game so I cannot play it.
I am running OS X 10.14.3
MacBook Pro mid 2012
2.5 ghz i5
4gb 1600 mhz ddr3
intel HD Graphics 4000 1536 MB
This is annoying because this is pretty much the only game I want to play on steam and I just bought it.
Don't know enough about the OSX system to say what's causing the trouble just yet.
My mouse would go to the side of the screen as if there's a magnet around it whenever I turn off the checkbox in the security settings, but when I do turn it on it would automatically freeze up the screen and crashes it, forcing me to restart. I've tried this for four times in a row and it happens every time. It's a shame because I was looking forward on playing this game. :/
macOS Mojave version 10.14
MacBook Air (13-inch, Early 2015)
1,6 GHz Intel Core i5
8 GB 1600 MHz DDR3
Intel HD Graphics 6000 1536 MB
I hope you guys can fix this soon. :(
(macbook pro os v: 10.14.15)
i've tried both the mac beta and the normal version
Edit: I got the not optimised warning which is due to mac transferring to 64-bit systems only which means 32-bit programs are starting to get buggy
It can run the game smoothly but if I don't give the game security permissions, the mouse will not work properly. If I enable security missions, I can use the mouse but it locks up the computer completely, with the only option after that being to force shutdown the computer.
