How do you play downloaded maps?

I subsribed to some maps on the Viscera Cleanup Deatail workshop which i assume downloaded them to my VCD game. I was wondering how you actually play them. When i click start work i get a choice of all the stock/regular maps. Any answers would be great! Thanks!!!

You may have to actually enable the Workshop in-game. On the left side of the Main Menu you'll see a Steam Workshop icon. Make sure it's "active", then wait for it to download and install the maps. Once it has, restart the game and they should be listed in the map list for "Start Work".

I might sound like a noob here but i clicked the workshop icon and now it says "Steam workshop is busy working". Does that mean it is downloading the maps. Thanks

A popup should appear telling you when it's downloading, AND when it's finished. If after 20 seconds nothing happens, relaunch the game and see if it behaves this time.

Once it has finished all its downloads, you'll want to relaunch the game to make it detect the new installed stuff.

Ive tried these step by step but it just doesnt seem to work.A little help would be good?

Sub to a map on workshop
Start VCD and wait for steam pop up saying steam has finished working
It may take up to 5 to 10 mins to download some of the bigger levels or all the levels
Exit VCD then start VCD choose a map n play it
Party mod is 0mb doesn't work
Medical x crashes VCD it's corrupt
Enjoy the other levels
There is a blue steam icon make sure it's lit up
Steam workshop is unavailable for Mac beta users
Try steam beta if it's still not working beta has lots of recent upload/download fixes for steam workshop stuff
