Mop Bucket Stuck in the Floor

So I'm mopping away and I found it was easier to hit the mop bucket with my mop if I was standing on it. But alas by standing on it and dunking the mop it shoved the bucket halfway through the floor and now the bucket is stuck. I"ve tried picking it up and yanking it out and swinging the mop and broom at it to knock it out but doesn't work. :(

Yeah, I've had that a few times. I haven't been able to lift it out of the floor, but to remove it, you can either melt it with the laser welder or use the developer console. To open up the colsole, press ~. A big black menu with green boarders should drop down over the top portion of your screen. Stand as close as possible to the bucket and enter "killnearestmess" (without the quotes, duh) into the bottom of the colsole, but ONLY IF THE BUCKET IS DIRTY. If it's clean, you'll have to either make it dirty or just enter "killnearestnonmess" instead.

yeah, i had that too. i think it happened when i hit the bucket with a right click. It was spinning while sunk in the floor. oh good info. i just exited and lost my progress, didn't know about the kill order. i am gonna save more now too. Has that problem been bug reported?

I'd assume so. This wasn't the first time it's been brought up, and it wouldn't be unreasonable to assume the developers had ran into this while testing a level as well.
Also, this thread is two months old. You might not want to bother responding to something this old.
