Saving Notes

Well, I was wondering - why there is no option to save found notes in any way? I mean - they carry a pieces of storyline, they actually the only thing that can tell the players wth is happened here. But ofc noone can memorize all of them, not to mention some random (and Bob's) notes.
So, why not to add an option to save them? Like PID's, carry the note you found to the PunchOut Device, and it will be saved, and can be accessed later at your Office. It seems logical, since now you can do some paperwork, why not to do it a little better?
A couple of achievements for finding all notes on level \ all Bob's notes\ all notes on all levels - can be interesting too, I suppose.

Well, you can actually save them. Just put them in your Janitor's Trunk (that big blue rectangular box with a bunch of stickers on it). Anything you put inside the trunk will be transfered into the Office for you to play with there. This includes notes.
Although I do agree, there should be a better mechanic for filing away these notes.

Well, I'm aware of Janitor's Trunk functions, but srsly - just stacking all these notes as a pile of junk, at the corner of your room - is a bit lame, especially when you have PC on your office's desk.

how about a clipboard that you carry in the levels and a filling cabnet added to office, or a scanner and keep em on that little computer

Well, something like scanner would be nice, but remember - there are notes at Office, so this device should be portable or at least be at Office too.

I put them on the shelves in the "collection" room.

Maybe the ability to pin them to the walls like you can with the EotM plaques?

Yeah, I have a massive pile of notes (and those electronic tablet things) stacked in the corner in my office from every level. I agree we definately need a better way.
I saw another post a while back that suggested there should be a notebook for players to make notes on various things (mostly for the incident report), but maybe both functions could be tied together?
Somewhat unrelated, but I also find it weird that the game counts paper notes as garbage...

Well, imagine a clean, shiny room. And in its center lies a paper advertisment about Bin Machine. You would consider it a trash, do you? So it seems logical, and yet...
I repeat - notes are the only source of story. We cant remember them all, and storing all is a bit lame.
Having some In-Game device just for them would be neat.
