Okay, wait ... where's the FUN?
Okay, the game is funny and I like the concept: but challenge aside, it's kinda boring ... especially having to get another dxxn bucket of water every five seconds.

It this only fun in multiplayer? I don't know anybody who plays, and I live in Japan, so I'm out of most people's time zone, AAAAAAND I work 5, 6 and 7 days a week for up to 12 hours a day, so I don't have much time for playing. I mean, I get that the clumsy mechanics are funny, but cleaning by myself is boring as xxxx and the repetitive bucket running is getting on my nerves.

How do YOU guys have fun with this game?

I've seen some Japanese people in the screenshots section of the hub, maybe you can try playing with them.
As for the question, I like the challenge of doing long, tiring and demanding tasks. The unreliability of the machines makes it more challenging.
I don't really see much fun in the game if you are not interested in the challenge, you can mess with the clumsy physics in multiplayer but that gets boring fast.
I guess you could listen to something while playing the game to keep you entertained? I listen to the Retsupurae podcast now when I play and it does keep me motivated.

With OCD, this game is just wonderful. I like cleaning up the mess :D
And it's a question of challenge too : being employee of the month, speedrun mode, steam achievements...

My friends ask me the same thing everytime if they catch me playing this game, it's odd. I'm with Chuckotha in that I like cleaning so it works for me. Yes in multiplayer is does kinda become fun but only because you laugh and rage at people trailing footprints all over the place. I find its a game you have to be in the mood for... sometimes I fancy killing zombies other times I just want to clean something, its oddly relaxing. XD

The game supports local and network multiplayer...

I don't mind the mopping so much, but right now I've cleared ALL junk and all that's left is the blood, but I'm spending more time getting buckets than actually using them. I think one of the devs recommends TWO buckets at a time, but in the narrow space, there's not much room. I suppose I could leave one outside the tunnel. However, I'm more likely to waste huge amounts of time spilling water everywhere.

What is YOUR opinion on buckets of water?
Smidge204 Mar 1, 2015 @ 3:22pm
You can indeed carry 3 nested buckets of water quite reliably. Nested buckets are very well behaved all things considered... just be careful because it can still go wrong. 4 buckets and it starts to be a little tipsy and the time you waste going slower and being more careful to not drop them eats into the time you're saving by carrying more than one.

You can also stack dirty buckets, but be warned that stacking a clean bucket with a dirty bucket will saturate the clean bucket almost instantly, just like putting jibs into it.

Eh, well fun part of the game (for me anyway) is figuring out an effective strategy for stuff, like when one realizes you can simply stack two or more buckets (any more past two is risky) and clean twice as fast. A sense of progress and satisfaction on what has been accomplished so far helps alot too, but that only really works if the work was enjoyable, or otherwise engaging, i suppose.

I simply looked up some videos here and there and thought i could probably do that more effeciently, and then i just kinda got hooked for a while, heh... (Though like half those hours played was making stuff on the Editor instead.)

I suppose it's not a game for everyone though... If all else fails multiplayer might save it for you, if you dont mind potential glitches and lag. The multiplayer is still very... Raw, and crude. Whoever's not hosting, but instead joining, is gonna have a rough time, and probably wont be able to handle bins full of items (in their view, it just explodes all over the place, physics+internet=insanity). But atleast the host has no such problems.

Thanks for the advice. Stacking buckets made it MUCH faster. I also got much better at realizing how long the mop would last. But MAN that level was DIRTY! Blood, slime, scorch marks, body parts, garbage. It took me 3 hours to clean that one level.

look arround find a way to carry more bucket than one like putting in a box ^^

The virtual cleaning satisfies me.

The fun is knowing that your soul has been cleansed - along the room that you virtually tidied up.

It's just therapeutic to me.

it already is nice to play this way :)
there can be done more interresting ideas like picking up substances on which we need to use special gloves or other healthy condition risk but there is still alot in development :)

if this not already exist i did only play 3 maps that far and already like this game alot :)

This game allows me to clean fictional rooms better than my actual one.
