Lightning scars
How do I get rid of them on Cryogenesis? Plasma Wielder doesn't work on them, and neither does the mop.

There must be a way to get rid of them.

Hm, i hear you've gotta use the Welder, but i never tried it yet myself. Supposedly its far trickier to do without causing a burn then just fixing bullet holes. But i'd imagine you'd atleast only end up with an bullet hole, not a new scar.

Hm, got nothing better to do anyway, really should replay some maps for achievement's sake. :P

Plasma welder is the tool for the job. However, collision may not be entirely ace on them yet. Try it out at various angles, etc. Let us know how funky the collision is, or whatever other issues they may have!

Yeah, they're annoying as all hell, after cleaning the cryo level again (or halfway, atleast). Gotta 'poke' at them with the laser where you deem is the center of a scar, not too long, let you make holes and fire, not too short, or the scar will never light up from the poke.

So it's a guessing game of where is the hitbox, especially when multiple scars are all over eachother it boils down to trying to find that hitbox with careful laser usage, cant tell where one begins and the other ends.

That said, once you find the spot, they're easy to remove, i've had bullet holes give me more grief when they're of the high-HP variants (in some levels there's very few bullet holes, and for some reason they are like, 3-4 times stronger then ones with many holes). Seeing them light up and disappear also helps greatly as its visible even while having the welder melt your eyeballs out.

In my opinion the burn when using the welder is happing to fast and to often.

I agree, and it's especially annoying when the hitboxes for the scars seem to be so funky, because I often need a few tries to even find the right angle.

Please tone down the burning, I spent hours cleaning the entire Cryogenics from top to bottom before figuring out how to get rid of the scars, just to have my pretty shiny walls covered in blackened scorch marks. :meatytears:
