try higher fov n spill less buckets n hardly ever miss the bin it also makes stacking the crates and barrels alot easier:)
fov above 140 is too fishy eyed for my pc screen:)
1900x res is also better depends on screen size
Sidenote, one can redownload all the content, or probably just move the folder back to resolve this issue, but it is confusing when it happens.
Yeah, they haven't been merged yet. Shadow Warrior will only be merged into the main game next year, the Mac merge will likely follow then.
As for the DLC(House of Horror), we're not sure how to get that separate on OSX yet.
For some reason, the Steam integration with the Unreal Engine causes the game to crash on OSX, so we had to avoid using large bits of it(Steam networking + Achievements).
Second: my specs ...
iMac 27 inch, Late 2013
3.5 ghz Intel core i7
16 gb 1600 mhz ddr3
nvidia geforce gtx 780m 4096 mb
Feedback
I played on Win7 and Win8 first, so I know how it should look.
1. VCD refuses to play in fullscreen.
2. Field of view is much narrower than windows version. Makes it much harder to see. I feel like everything is really close up.
Positives:
VERY smooth. Controls are about the same. Sound is clear.
I loved the 22 minutes I got to play on my pc (Which sadly broke) and I would love to get it on mac.
My specs:
iMac (24-inch, early 2009)
3.06 GHz Intel Core 2 Duo
4GB 1067 MHz DDR3
NVIDIA GeForce GT 130 512 MB
I know this is a older computer, but it runs things pretty well. It could also be helpful to see how it runs on older devices.
Thanks for creating a great game.
Quoted from the original post (which I recently edited) :)
EDIT: We have a build going if you have the game! To give it a try, head to the Steam client, right-click on Viscera Cleanup Detail in the library and go to Properties. Under there, find the "Betas" tab and enter the code "ZeTrollPatch". And when running the game, choose the Launch Mac option. Let us know how it goes!
No luck, it says its not available on my current platform. I received the game as a gift, could that be my issue?
A gift copy shouldn't matter.
how did your pc break did the screen go black
replace the video card with a good one if your video card blew up=thats if what boke it then just install vcd on ones repaired pc if can get it fixed if mac beta not work on ya mac:)
best of luck with pc repair or getting mac beta to work on ya mac:)
have a look where ever steam is installed on mac n see if there is a viscera folder
if its there n entered the beta code open steam library press play n there should be a launch mac option
im guessing here as i dont have a mac
-Buy Viscera Cleanup Detail(or be gifted it)
-Right-click on the item in your Steam client, select the Betas tab, enter the code to unlock the Mac beta
-Install the game
-Download it
-Run it(selecting the Launch Mac option when the dialog appears)
If you installed it before entering the code, then enter the code and re-download it/possibly re-install it.
