Sounds like you got fired. If you don't clean the level well enough, you'll be fired, and the office will reset, meaning all your trophies will be deleted.

But what about when the note says it won't even bother to fire you?

What? What note says that?
I'm really confused, please try to reword that and explain it a bit better...

But yeah, unless your office save file was corrupted and deleted (which shouldn't happen every time, I might add), the only way that could happen would be that you got fired.

I don't remember exactly, plus to reget it I would end up losing all my stuff. Pretty much the line was
"I'm not going to even bother firing you". Then something about reentrenchment I think? I forget most of it. I only really remembered it because I thought "So then I haven't been fired :3?"

Well, idk, I don't remember anything like that at all. If you could tell me where it is, I should be able to find it, though. Even something as vague as the general description of a level should be enough.
I also checked and the VCD wiki doesn't have anything similar to what you said in any of the notes from the Office, though. Meaning the note was either removed/edited from the game before that article was created, or more likely, it was from another level.

There are 5 possible completion states:

(1): Employee of the month - Received Bonus points - Keeps Trophies
(2): Excellent Job - Cleaned everything as it should be, no extra bonus points - Keeps Trophies
(3): Poor Job - Left some messes lying around, but not enough to get fired - Keep Trophies
(4): Awful Job - Didn't clean enough - Get Fired - Doesn't Keep Trophies
(5): Company Shut Down - A lot more mess than when you started - Get Fired - Doesn't Keep Trophies

Anything brought with in the Trunk upon receiving any of the first 3 states will stay in your office until you do a bad enough job to get fired.

If you get number 5, you get company notes about retrenchment, and they won't technically fire you because everyone is being fired and the company shut down.

It was 5. I was messing around on Unearthly Excavation. Basically I threw tons of stuff into it and got the achieve for feeding the sand trap 100 items. It vomited everywhere, I got bored of havin to mop up ALL THE ♥♥♥♥♥♥♥♥♥♥ VOMIT!!! And eventually I started spreading as much mess as I possibly could. Then I checked out. The list thing said I did a -294% completion.

Though yea, I got #5. Funny how 1 man can get an entire company shut down. Maybe that company sucked anyways. Afterall, they were only able to send 1 person to clean an entire facility. Plus that 1 person apparently didn't pass any kind of janitorial training (considering what I did with the messing around) and was only able to be hired at that specific company.

Oh, hah, cool, I didn't even know a company shutdown was a thing. I'll have to put this on the Wiki sometime then. I just don't wanna get my Office wiped just yet, though, so might be some time.

The Janitor's blue box is like the tardis (or any bethesda storage) much bigger on the inside. Except for the janitor's blue box, it's annoying to stuff everything inside!!!
