Yeah, the Vacuum has been brought up quite a few times, even before the developers added the Broom. I think they decided not to just because it would make the task of picking up small stuff way too easy.
And they most certainly won't add it now, because it would render the broom totally useless.

lol the broom is useless:)
I like the broom I jus leave it on the floor (would use it if it not spread blood everywhere:)
hands are faster:)
i did make a vacuum cleaner/electro magnet broom omg it freaked out its suction was so powerful it made a gib tornado it sucked all mess in map into a spinning cone that went on a wild rampage painting map in blood in about 10 seconds:)
turn off vacuum cleaner resulted in it raining viscera
i dont think there ever will be a vacuum cleaner:)

Yeah i think its helpful for huge piles, but even still it makes a bit more of a mess than needed. Why sweep into a pile what you can pick up really quick?

Yeah I don't even bother with the broom at all. I'm just saying a vacuum would make it even more useless than it already is. Even in the Wiki article I wrote about it I basically just called it a reskinned, less powerful clone of the mop :P

a disposible vaccume so you can just throw it into the fire when full

id be happy with a magnet that you can toggle on/off for picking up spent brass and tin cans, if you have a broom you should probably have some kind of space dustpan, give the players some way of picking up small bits of trash more than one bit at a time. (you could have the magnet glitch out and fire everything its holding at high speed, shattering lanterns and maybe killing janitors)

why not just make the broom magnetic?
A JANITOR Oct 10, 2015 @ 1:38pm
nice if bullet shells got caught in the broom bristles or magnet tap broom on a bin to make bullets fall in:)

Because brass isn't magnetic?
A JANITOR Oct 10, 2015 @ 2:14pm
oh yeah brass not magnetic it simple things one can easily forget:)
if the broom had a brass magnet on it would be cool/press x to turn magnet on/off:)

some people use a magnet on a stick to retreve spent shotty shells, if the main body of a spent cartridge isnt magnetic then the primer might be..... not that VCD is realistic or anything........ im just kinda sick of picking up each bit of trash.
