I do have a few future questions of my own for VCD 2
Will there be anther Executive Janitor legacy treasure hunt like we had with our dear friend Bob? Because that was fun yet interesting collecting every page of his before finding him dead in Unearthly Excavation.
Will there be more collectibles that requires multiplayer like Vulcan Affair did?
Will we get a Alien movie reference like back in Evil Science we had the collectible Face hugger?
Anyways I can't wait to see more future screen shots or gameplay samples of VCD 2! It surprises me greatly that it's happening so I wish you all luck for VCD2 path.
From what I'm reading, it sounds like the player role will be expanded from cleaner, to also handyman. If that's the case, I can't wait. Love the idea of restoring machinery and structures, like... finding a corridor blocked by a broken pipe and a jet of stream, finding a valve, turning off the steam, reattaching the dislodged pipe, then turning the valve again to open up something else. Even small tasks like that would be fun.
Or a mining facility where you find a half drilled tunnel and a large boring machine with a massive cone covered in lots of smaller, damaged/blunted cones. These cones would need to be replaced so the borer can be activated and finish drilling through the tunnel to reveal a new area.
Or having a fabricator on the drop pod, then finding broken lights but no replacement. So you insert the broken light into the fabricator, scan it in, then use it to create endless replacements. Or maybe not endless. Maybe other materials would need to be converted first.
Either way, I'm excited for all the possibilities. Good luck!
Tossing things into the same looking furnace every level gets kind of repetitive after a while
