Cant launch VCD.
I tried reinstalling the game, I tried running the thing in the redist again. I tried manually installing
the microsoft visual basic thing (I forgot the name, sorry) But it doesn't work. I tried running in compatibility mode, (currently on windows 10) I also tried running as admin. Nothing.
When I launch the game (32 or 64 bit) It gets stuck on the loading screen and the log file is empty. What I mean by the loading screen is this:

When I minimize it and put it back up again this happens: ( spoiler: it crashes)

I bought this game in a bundle and I really want to play it. But I can't. Thanks for helping me out.

Have you tried starting VCD: Santa's Rampage ? If you did, did this one successfully load or do you have the same problem ?

Just tried it, both 64 and the normal version do the exact same thing

hmm odd i have similar problem with 32 bit vcd but i use 64 bit vcd to fix 32 bit vcd:)
(32 bit vcd wont switch from windowed to fullscreen or set screensize in options or it freeze like a paused dvd forever
32 bit rooks keep vcd sr and sw have same problem but 64 bit allways fixes it
so i start 64 bit vcd set fullscreen then set screensize exit n start 32 bit vcd fixes it for me:)
in the faq try the res x res y fix set screensize to same as desktop
1900x1980 is vcd's highest res setting
UDKSystemSettings.ini

heres a segment of my ini file

ATI AMD Radeon R9 380 (2gb of VRAM)
try 16.3.2 video driver and update direct x visualc++ redist and dot net framework
perhaps run windows update too
C:\Program Files (x86)\Steam\steamapps\common\Viscera\Binaries\Redist
run this as admin too=UE3Redist.exe
still not working maybe try goat sim demo goat sim redist can fix vcd (engine build number identicle=if goat sim wont work vcd wont work:)

lorenzo!!! Jul 14, 2016 @ 5:05pm
Alright so I tried it and I get past the loading screen but now it just gets stuck on a white screen. 32 and 64 bit.
A JANITOR Jul 14, 2016 @ 5:07pm
maybe try different res sizes like 800x600 etc also try disabling antialising vsync and ambient occlusion
if pc screen is higher than 1900x1080 set pc screen to that or lower
maybe try compatabillity mode for windows 8 or 7 too
i hate windows 10 i stay on 8.1
try starting 64 bit vcd each time until it works its the same with goat simulator
or start the vcd level editor choose open existing map then go here=
C:\Program Files (x86)\Steam\steamapps\common\Viscera\UDKGame\Content\Viscera\Maps
open any map wait till it loads dont save the map when exit editor find a little green play button top right of screen press that to play map in the editor
perhaps that will rebuild the shader cache then when exit vcd the game might start

perhaps install is corrupt to get a clean install open viscera fiolder delete everything then verify integrity of game cache for a clean install
im out of ideas esp since your on windows buggy 10
also turn pc off full shutdown turn it back on n try again update firefox old one had a bad memory leak
avoid amd beta drivers 16.3.2 works nice in vcd and it works in udk 3 and udk 4 games(esp solus project only 3 drivers work in solus) vcd is udk 3
perhaps download Raptr and press optimze games button it override vcd config files(its an AMD app?
disable AMD overlay and opt into steam beta in steam settings steam beta works better on win 10
in vcd properties in steam library disable VR in thearter or whatever it is
if have a hdmi cable disconnect pc screen and plug video cable into a tv (maybe your screen cause it=monitor refresh rate???)
also vcd wont start if pc has no speakers or headphones try another audio socket
vcd wont start if goat simulator wont work either
still not working download free unreal tounament udk 3 dev kit if that crashes something is wrong
out of ideas hope one of those fix it

http://steamcommunity.com/app/246900/discussions/0/540738051006178353/
your video card has double the memory mine has n vcd run at 60 fps on max video settings
ambient occlusion disabled
antialising disabled
vsync on or off
my video card is AMD sapphire hd 7770 1gb on amd driver 16.3.2
uninstall catalyst control centre it conflicts with the new crimson radeon settings app make sure new settings app is installed 1st or pc load into black screen=not fun fixing that in windows safe mode
still not working tinker with radeon settings app
check logs folder for a log file if get one and post its contents here n wait for help from devs(devs are very helpful)
now im out of ideas xd vcd should run fine on your pc
