Difference between the mop and broom?

What does the broom do differently?

I think the broom is meant to sweep all the loose stuff laying around to a central point where you can easily get rid of it. Like, just sweep everything to the oven and throw it in, instead of running back and forth with buckets and carrying things one by one across the level.

The broom pushes things a little more efficiently. It can also soak up blood, but not a whole lot... one or two swipes.

To be perfectly honest I have never, ever used the broom.

lol i hardly ever use the broom
only thing i do with the broom is set off landmines and kill npc or sweep player 2 to death or i just collect a few in the trunk
broom only good for bullets if can sweep them strait into a fire or down the hatch in the office:)
broom makes too much mess=blood everywhere:)
nice if house of horror had a witches broom to use tho
basically the broom is a mop that cant soak up as much blood as the mop can

the broom is more useful to attach to an npc and let them sweep in circles on workshop
playing minesweeper with the broom is fun landmines wont kill ya if ya sweep them
whats another decent use for the broom that doesnt create so much mess?

im thinking of adding a fishing mechanic to my new map=use stationary animated harpoon to catch bodies/boots/tentacles/trash/bins/fish/dynamite etc from the ocean then can just toss it back in the sea if ya not catch a fish or a dead alien fetus
stationary useable tripod turret i want to build too=then can shoot player 2 for spilling my bucket
remote control sentry guns are fun to activate from security room:)

I think it strikes with a little more force than the mop, when you swing it. I've been able to dislodge some items from level geometry with the broom, where the mop couldn't do it.

It's also good for trying to sweep small items like bullets all into one place so you can pick them up easier. There's also been a few occasions where I wasn't able to see trash, so I just swept until a previously-unseen bullet rolled out.
