Lagging on good PC
Hello, so i have a good PC with ryzen 5 2600 and radeon rx 580. But when i launch workshop maps FPS drops to 20.... How i can fix that?

P.S. System = Windows 11 Pro 21H2

P.S. 2. When i launch Tiny Rooms III my FPS 60, but when i look to the incerator place my FPS drops to 27-31

P.S. 3. My GPU working for 40% only.

perhaps it's an optimization issue-- even if your computer is good, sometimes games demand a lot in weird ways

I'd say mess with your graphics settings/preferences to see if lowering the quality/turning extra things off (like bloom, mop drips, ect) help!

I set all setting to low.

The question here would be, is it only on that one map?
If you get good FPS on other maps, I would think it's just down to that map.

I have low FPS on Tiny Rooms V on Underground Research Facility on Soda Factory and other big maps

siri does the same thing if ya ask her if she works for the cia n talk about ufo's or area 51 n she gets angry n tells ya she standing right next to ya n can see everything ya do even if ya phone is off
alexa knows everything too she absorbs everything even if its internet is off off it still targets ya with personaised ads ya didn't tell her about n god knows what evil entity lives in google:)
one day AI goes rogue after millions of people always telling those devices to f off xd

incinerator particles don't murder my fps in the same map either n core sample was the worst for incinerator particles lol

maybe try this to speed she up to make grandma floor it n put VCD's pedal to the metal=
(it should fix nvidia lag too)

disable this garbage in task manager startup tab=
itunes bonjour and apple updater
disable everything that has the apple brand name on it=now it won't leach 2gb of ram even though its not running(i tools is free n so is all the music)
disable everything else windows buggy 11 doesn't need torturing the pc memory vs a ton of taskbar clutter
disable windows areo theme n use classic desktop so that doesn't swallow another 1 gb of ram n get rid of desktop widgets
exit big picture mode it sux
opt into steam beta in steam settings (normal steam designed for windows 7 beta for 10 and 11

don't disable avast if have that but if ya have that delete the avast safe price extension
thank christ avast overrides this useless s#!t=windows defender as windows defender is a virus magnet on heat=it can't find a virus even if ya give it one on purpose lol

if pc has nahamic 3 configure that to use either AMD hdmi audio from video card
or realek universal driver if pc has msi motherboard as stupid windows update installed wrong realtek driver twice n bsod n turned pc into a super lagging brick twice
if pc has msi mobo it should have live update 6
scan for updates=do not install norton garbage otherwise pc break guiness book of world records for worlds slowest boat anchor
don't use it's video driver=too old
use latest video driver in radeon settings (don't use beta gpu drivers)
if pc doesn't have nahamic or live update 6 don't install those as was incuded in my motherboard driver cd


right click the game in steam library and permanently disable this unwanted crap=
steam cloud sync
also turn off that desktop thearter rubbish

start 64 bit vcd as 32 bit only use 3gb of video card n that often crashes with out of video memory errors in aqualand the vulcan dlc and shark island if ya play 32 bit cuz windows 10 windows update broke something in 32 bit vcd vs some stupid idiot at microsoft as microsoft screw everything they touch even tho i use the 32 bit level editor to make maps to fix a windows dpi scaling bug
windows crappy 11 will be last os i upgrade to as Bugrosoft Bugrows 10 is already a pain in the a hole vs gaming not to mention disabling all the microsoft spyware

64 bit=no crashes n uses more than 3gb of my 8gb gpu
32 bit log file says gpu has 3gb memory=malfunction=out of video memory crashes

quit the game

will see a 32 and 64 bit folders
in both of those is UDK.exe
set both of em to run as administrator compatability mode for windows 7

if it still lags please check that stupid windows update didn't delete ya gpu driver n disable radeon settings as last week windows crappy update did just that n it replaced my gpu driver with laggy bvll$h!t called microsoft generic monitor driver

if that happenned it won't let you reinstall radeon adrenalin settings
disable hardware scanning in windows and reinstall radeon settings update gpu driver n re enable hardware scanning=just watch that it doesn't delete the new gpu driver or re disable radeon settings n reinstall that crap generic monitor driver on ya=i hate microsoft sick of fixing everything they break=

postal 4 on ultra setting runs at 240 fps in main menu and 100-120 fps ingame n everyone with a 3080 or 3090 says that run at 12fps on buttsauce settings=lol AMD doesn't lag n red dead two on ultra run above 100 fps too=hilarious

at least try the udkengine.ini file tweak and the suggested game options and steam settings if not comfortable messing with radeon settings

not enough memory to start goat simulator n said pc had 2gb ram n a full 300gb hdd that used to have windows vista on it n i5 tower was a crappy old dell office tower from the year 2000 with a broken fan on it's cpu (the only fan it had) a half fried200 watt psu with a melted gpu slot + kentucky fried usb ports with wires spliced from cd drive to turn hdd on n i had to take the ram out n lick it like a nintendo cartrige to stop that pc from bootlooping n vcd and crysis 3 still never lagged with a pc full of duct tape for 2 years=lol

check for bottlenecking n try again VCD should never lag on ya setup even if everything is set as high as it goes but the settings i posted you can pull 200 fps out of vcd it is possible=turn vsync off but leave it on if pc turns into an amazon delivery drone xd

my fans run dead silent in vcd n my nw pc has lots of fans and the generic air cooled wraith prism cooler that came with cpu as pc rejected a corsiar water cooler
all my hardware is AMD corsair and msi
hdd is western digital and ssd has windows to itself so it doesn't bog down windows
turn pc on takes less than 3 seconds to fully load windows 10 star steam count to 3 start vcd count to 4 n im mopping up mess in no time
games stay on hdd windows stays on ssd=makes no difference if game on ssd=no speed difference also postal 4 takes 3 seconds in zap zones although everyone with nvidia says it takes ten minutes=lol

suggestion=
get rid of cc cleaner if ya havbe that n replace it with this

also if i play the frustrum map in teardown that runs at 400 fps
100 fps if the entire map is on fire and 3 fps if ya crash a boat
make sure psu not underpowered too

I think it can be reproduced if you reduce the CPU's core clock.
Maybe that's the cause?

First check if your CPU is actually running on full speed.
Also check if there is some power saving active (like "power options")

I know that from older slower systems also.
No, when i in main menu my video card working for 50%, when i launch this map my videocard working for 40%. My CPU not working with this stupid game.

I first would check in Task Manager what "Speed" your CPU runs while running the game/map.
Mine by default (standing at the start) is around 3,09GHz.
If your's is slower, then something must be wrong.

Did ya try putting -dx11 in the steam launch options Box for VCD

Sounds like something wrong with direct X 9 vs direct 3d 9

Not as simple as setting false to true especially if didn't turn that direct3d9 setting off to start with n it shouldn't say d3d9 unknown in the log file
DX Diag might find direct X errors?
Direct X 9 c could be corrupt
I've never seen that d3d9 unknown in any of my vcd log files before
