Im on a Corsair mouse and I could adjust the sensitivity all the way down on everything but if the DPI is high through the corsair app or mouse's DPI button its going to be high sens, as in an inch of movement would cover the distance of your screen.
I like windows my mouse has a dpi button so can be faster or slower on the fly
As for the slider in the game settings
I never had to touch it
The Mac version isn't perfect either
Have ya tried a windows or proton/Linux emulator to get out of apples walled garden you might be lucky n the windows version might run on it!
Everything I did purchase from Apple now sits in a drawer as a useless paperweight
That's what happens when apple update the os=it doesn't work anymore=lol apple waste of money
Anyway search the forum for the mouse issue vs Mac n you'll find the fix for it
