Disintegrator achievement

Is this achievement bugged? No matter what I fry, my number of items shown in progress bar stays at 53.

Do you need to actually save your match, or clock out or something for this to count?

It should be working. It's most likely that the in-game overlay doesn't update the achievement progress display more than once, so you only get an accurate display of your progress the first time you open the steam overlay in-game. After that you'd need to exit the game, or check in the steam client to see the correct number.

Hmm, okay I'll try the steam client method of checking it, how do I do that again? I can't seem to figure it out atm...

well its bugged for me also, No matter what I burn, the achievement number 0. Even after I save and quit the game

I gave up on it myself, lol. No time to worry about this if it's just going to be bugged.

did it using a bin machine here, it does work, quite time consuming though if you dont wrap it into a playthrough via regular use of the welder. BlackEagles comments are correct about how it updates the numbers.

Indeed correct
Perhaps try it in incubation emergency that one requires heavy use of the welder?
All of the achievements work and that one was an easy one.

Windows buggy 10
Run game as administrator comparability mode for windows 7
Set both 32 and 64 bit UDK.exe files to do that and do the same with the shadow warrior and Santa rampage exe files
Use the steam play button to start the game windows UAC ask for permission to run as administrator press yes
That might help
Put ya friends thing in online mode not sleep offline or invisible

Save the game manually often
Steam won't show an updated counter for at least 10 minutes or until you exit and restart steam
Try 32 bit VCD if 64 bit isn't counting anything for some reason

Check the steam workshop icon in the main menu if anything has red unknown Text next to it in the installed mods list unsubscribe from it
Resub if it been recently updated to fix jammed/broken mod installer
Unsubscribe from all outdated maps
VCD has a new upload tool now

Some workshop maps can break the game
Check my collection those are safe to sub to!

Also if bought VCD before the latest game update reinstall the game
Open the viscera folder keep the saves folder and delete everything else and verify the game cache to reinstall the game.
Now try it
Unsubscribe from soda factory and aquarium tunnels and anything by the Mafia creator and rakayuo (entrance etc) 1st
Soda factory breaks the game (Satellite beacons crash the game if you have soda factory) and aquarium tunnels bricks the level editor
(Aquarium tunnels UDK file is corrupt)
Medical rust can also brick multiplayer if clients are not subbed to it then cancel connect attempt in every map
Radio play 2 csgo songs on every radio in every map so all sub or All unsubscribe to UNBRICK multiplayer
Unsubscribe from the Korea maps or anything that has a broken map briefing and unsubscribe from anything that has files missing or installed in the wrong folders
Nuke the game and reinstall it again if didn't unsubscribe 1st or game be still broken

Always backup your saves folder so you don't lose your office stash

Carthief is excluded his maps get dumped in the mods folder=ignore it/safe

Re-activating the office after a reinstall also fix achievements not working
Office 2.0 also require reactivate after a reinstall otherwise the doors won't work properly and it probably crash on ya until you reactivate it

To reactivate the office or office 2.0 after a reinstall do this

Press clear office button and clear the office
Go to office pause the game and save it then move everything away from where you keep collectibles and use the office exit door
Exit the game and restore a backup trophy save to get all ya stuff back as clear office button deleted all the Bob stuff
Now play a map n office won't bug out or crash at punchout
Achievements also work properly on a fresh office save

Properties
Permanently Disable steam cloud sync for VCD and the desktop theatre thing
Open the games autosaves folder and delete all autosaves including the ones in its backups folder
Steam cloud sync screws the game up n all it takes is 1 internet dropout or game update
Save manually often autosaves are useless and steam cloud sync is unwanted feature
Steam cloud sync also causes unreleased workshop maps to fail to upload to workshop on every single retry if you played it in the game and autosaves bricked it
Steam cloud reinstalls deleted corrupt save files every single time you start the game and it drives you ffffffinggggg mental
Set autosave to 0 Disabled in game options
Delete autosaves=hooray it uploaded to workshop
Horray I can test unreleased workshop maps in multiplayer before uploading map updates=finally a way to fix the bugs properly:)
Steam cloud sync broke every single ue3 and ue4 game in my Steam library
Get rid of it but don't Disable steam cloud sync in steam settings only do it in the game settings then never again will the cloud Bork saves in said games
It also permanently fix the office crash at punchout bug=steam cloud sync broke the game vs internet dropout juring gameplay cloud sync wrong data when internet turns itself back on

Steam cloud sync only works properly in valves games TF2 Dota portal etc

If game gets updated steam failed to delete old redundant files
If verify game cache 9897 times and 8-10 files missing its useless=still broken
Steam skips old and corrupt files

Devs deleted that folder years ago in vcd beta=no wonder the game was going HAYWIRE IN STYLE???

Backup your saves folder before you Nuke the Viscera folder then verify the game cache=1000+files missing=fixed

I had to reinstall the game twice after the latest game update to fix a corrupt install as the editor went bonkers and steam failed to delete old redundant files=happens in every game lol=
If a game gets updated Nuke it then reinstall it to fix verify game cache bug
Verify game cache doesn't fix anything if you don't delete the affected files 1st

Everything works fine now n so does multiplayer and Remote play together and the steam link app for playing VCD on my phone along with the level editor

All vanilla files must stay vanilla do not cheat in the level editor
If you make a new map never save vanilla packages or it screws the game up= yeah thanks soda factory=reinstall the game after you unsubscribe from it
It's ok to play soda factory but it will break the game

Windows buggy 10 was shipped with administrator thinks it's a guest bug
Windows UAC has a catfight with windows defender causing everything installed on PC to bsod or randomly crash and not read or write to disk correctly vs DLL files and games fail to save and windows locks the administrator out of the administrator account settings=happens to me every time I buy a new PC=Microsoft broke windows 10 on the install disk if reinstall windows it's broken again
It also makes steam achievements in every game not work at all!

A take ownership script will fix it
Take ownership of C drive as administrator
Create a system restore point before even thinking about running the script
Must install correct script for correct version of windows
Script adds right click option to the mouse menu right click on something take ownership=hooray now it lets me save a new workshop map instead of telling me I'm a guest when I am administrator!
Never take ownership of the recycle bin or it could brick windows 10

If you don't have that bug it lets you save stuff in the mods folder and everything installed on PC works instead of crashing

Cooking stuff with the welder is an easy to get achievement
Hopefully ya only have to open the viscera folder keep the saves folder delete everything else and verify the game cache to fix it
Reactivate the office before you punchout from another map after a reinstall then the office won't malfunction and it also Fix red keycard and keep it secret keep it safe achievement not working bug

Restore backup trophy save if the clear office button deleted some of your office collection
Get rid of corrupt workshop maps before reinstall

Devs fixed buggy stairs that go into the water in ya office heaps of times

Stuff clipped under the stairs

My office stash is 7 years old and if something bricks my office I notice it
If anything breaks the game I notice it as I'm always using the level editor and it tells you if something bricks the game as I reinstall the game monthly for debugging purposes so I never screw the game up vs my workshop maps

If something is broken the game will malfunction=
Multiplayer won't work and achievements won't work
If something gets updated on workshop Start again and overwrite old save with new save

Doors in evil science and elevators not working properly
Old save files are corrupt from old game updates

Everything must be current
Multiplayer won't work if it isn't

Multiplayer works fine and all of the game files are fine on my end=
0 errors no issues everything works fine!
