Viscera Cleanup Detail 2 or New DLC?

I thoroughly enjoy this game but... you can only run the same maps and enjoy unofficial mods so long. I am hoping a developer will chime in on the possibility of future official DLC and/or a Viscera Cleanup Detail 2 game.

I have money, take it!
Just give me my DLCs!

Alas, there are no plans for a Viscera Cleanup Detail 2 at this point, however we are open to the possibility. We'd like to explore other projects first however. We may have to move VCD away from the UDK at some point anyway, we can't say for certain yet. If that happens, there is a lot to figure out and plenty of room to change things, so it may be something closer to a sequel. Not planned at the moment.

That being said, more DLC content might happen if the mood strikes us or we're tired of the other projects and need to spice VCD up a bit. We have tons of ideas for possible DLC, so there is no shortage of inspiration, just time.

So to encapsulate where things are at:
-Sequel: Maybe someday, but not on the horizon any time soon.
-DLC: Also a maybe, but perhaps more likely. Also not currently working on one or have plans to yet.

We are making some other stuff, so that should be interesting.
Unfortunately, we're a small team of 3 people and life has its own demands at the moment, so progress is slow.

I appreciate thoroughly you taking the time to provide some insight into that. While it is somewhat sad news for us who love this game, I think I speak for many of us who say thank you both for the current content, and the consideration you show the fan base.

First time I hear moving away from UDK at some point statement. Surely cons there too, moving away from familiar environment but men it makes fixing MP code actually possible!

Sad face, would have loved a VCD 2, and DLC's. Its one of the most relaxing and addictive games i've played. Much love to the dev team.
