Locked Chest / Endings

I'm trying to figure out a way to open the locked via code chest in the attic. The code seems obvious but it simply doesn't fit 1986
Is this a bug? Or this simply isn't the code?

Also, so far I found 2 endings (first by cutting the rope and dying by the demon, second sacrificing the demon) but I feel like there are 1-2 more atleast (best guess using that small cage somehow and of course the attic chest having something)
Can you help us/inform us?

yeah me too, i have no idea. I tried doing the reverse but no luck even doing the little pause in case clicking too fast is too fast for the original game code? Just throwing out random guesses.
