Dungeon Stalkers

Is the PvE going to get harder?
I feel that the PvE mode is what makes this game different from (and better than) the likes of Dark and Darker and Dungeonborne. But I do feel that PvE is currently too easy compared to PvP (based on the version that was last available as a demo). Are there any plans to make it harder (e.g., by including some roaming raid bosses) and more varied? I'd love some more enemies, traps which are deadlier and harder to avoid, and 3D dungeon layouts where you have to climb up and down to different levels. What do you think, everyone?

I agree with the sentiment that balancing PvE would be worthwhile. Making the PvE better would probably also improve the PvEvP mode by proxy. I was too late to get into the test but I think there are some things to consider when looking at the PvE mode.
1. Keeping loot.
It's kind of the point of a dungeon extractor to extract with better gear, but this would be a problem because eventually a player will just have the best loot and trivialize the content. I think the PvE mode should work a bit like the Division's Survival mode. Everyone starts with basic gear and loots or crafts their way to better gear. This would help keep the PvE from getting too easy.
Loot should instead be "cashed out" at the end of a run as points for unlocking powers/perks or cosmetics, incentiveizing people to get as much loot as possible.
2. Wipes
My understanding is that wipes are common in extraction games. Or at least in games like tarkov. These wipes can coincide with content updates and I think that having a leaderboard of some kind to reward high scoring players at the end of each wipe with something like a profile banner or a unique cosmetic would be really cool.

As for 3D dungeon layouts, I'm not sure what that means. I saw some gameplay and it looked like there were areas with stairs and verticality so I think this game has that. Unless you're talking about the dungeon having different zones within a single level, and in that case I think it could make the maps too big. Part of the appeal should be playing with or against others and so having smaller maps where people can run into each other would be best IMO.

There is a little bit of verticality, but no pits to climb down into on a rope, no rough terrain that would be difficult to scale or high platforms with treasure you could only reach with the likes of a grappling hook. Also, how about Moria-esque places where you could fall to your doom? For me at least, these would be a big plus and enrich the "dungeoneering" atmosphere.

Also, I really like the way the game handles looting, I don't want any of that to change.

Me neither. I also argued (in another thread) that more focus on PvE is essential if this game wants to distinguish itself from the likes of Dark and Darker. So, contrary to what WuvWoo said, I think the map needs to be made much larger so that players are less likely to bump into each other, making the PvP a rare highlight in an otherwise PvE-focused game. This would pull the game away from DaD and similar titles that are all essentially battle royales, and make it something new, like a dungeoneering Sea of Thieves.
